@twinburna Right click on the torrent in the utorrent program. One selection should be "open containing folder", click that one and double click on the file and it should start playing in Windows Media Player if it's a movie or music. If it doesn't you probably don't have the right "codec", if you just have audio or just video. This is a common problem. Torrents are tricky at first, but great once you get the hand of it.

@Zmcxshottiey: its simple, because its using internet, if you have multiple programs using your internet connection its performance will drop as it is split among them, however download programs like torrents or other p2p programs tend to monopolize your internet connection to finish download faster so performance of anything else is usually drastically reduced.

in short: DON'T PLAY WHILE YOU DOWNLOAD! you can browse tho but it will probably run very slowly.

@TMASI2010 Seeding goes over right size? What? When you download a file, you are a leech (peer) until you get 100% of the file then you are a seed. Once you have 100% you can open the file and use it. You continue seeding (uploading) to other peers, (leeches) forever unless you turn it off or delete the file.

It should then start playing in Windows Media Player, if it doesn't u prolly don't have the correct "Codec" on you computer. These tutorials never explain "codecs". I use CCCP Combined Commuinty Codec Pack, I downloaded it with utorrent.

It's a program that reads and allows you to download the "torrent" . So you Download the torrent from the internet, then open it with utorrent and receive the files.

When the file has finished downloading, (100) percent, open utorrent and right click on the the torrent u want to play. That should bring up a list, click on "open containing folder" that should bring up the containg folder. Double left click on the folder. It should start playing in WMV. If it doesn't u prolly don't that the right codec. I use CCCP or combined community codec pack. It doesn't play all, it plays AVI, Divx, and some others.

IF not, then there may be a chance to download virus. But if u download stuff from known uploaders you have less chance to get virus, I recommend to download from known users like for movies, aXXo.

HELP!!! PLZ RESPOND!! I downloaded a torrent file for a game, next i add the torrent to the utorrent program to download the "iso file". so then the downloading icons turns "RED" which means there is a problem while downloading. now i delete the torrent, BUT when i check my download file(where my torrent files will be saved at) i see the ISO FILE and all the data for the game, and the iso file came from the torrent file that had a problem downloading. Im wondering if thats normal???????

Just open the same torrent file and save it the same place as the first time, this will only work if u remove/canceled it, it wont work if u deleted the file u downloaded.

It depends on what internet connection u have, and how many people is seeding and such. I have no idea how u turn up the speed, if I knew I would do it too, cause I only get 1mBit/s and I have 10mBit/s both ways.

I download 700mb around 15-20min, or something like that. That is because I get 1,5Mbit/s
