  • Man, you are FAT!

  • The second you said long trigger pull I lost interest.

  • I like my PT640 Pro with the DA/SA trigger. Also like it when I get a misfire it'll revert to a double action so it'll strike the primer again.

  • Got the PT-809 for $299.00 at Academy for the range so I can shoot cheap. Yes they have a long trigger pull but I've had no problems yet. My friends shoot it to and have 1000 rounds with no problems. Not my favorite pistol but I'll keep it for now.

  • what part of idaho were you in

  • he called it reliable after firing 3 shots.. what a douchebag.

  • @plechatam Cause its impossible he fired any BEFORE the camera was on....douchebag

  • i perfer taurus or kel tec. 24-7 pro is very accurate.

  • I have the 24/7 45 cal, and the only problem ive ever had after thousands of rounds is the ammo i use, if i use tul-ammo, the copper jackets have a nasty tendency to jam, plus the trigger pull is ridiculous..

  • I have the Taurus 24/7 in the 40 cal I absolutely love put 500 rounds through it so far no problems it is the most accurate gun I ever shot other than the 1911 and Taurus aint out to rape ur pockets like other brands just take care of ur fire arm and ur firearm will take care of u

  • it's not a Glock or KelTec so ofcourse he is going to diss it. Taurus not paying him I guess.

  • How much does this one cost aproximately not certain but i thought i saw it in the store the other day. mite get this one or the taurus m92

  • i have the taurus 24/7 airsoft gun, dig it!

  • @01787testme I wish there was a BB version. Then I would buy it.

  • I love my PT 24/7 Pro DS 9... it's an amazing gun. 1000 rounds through it and not a single hang-up, failure to feed, or anything. The trigger pull is long, but once your used to it, it rocks!

  • im 15, but im wanting a pistol,my hands are to small for most .45's and was looking for a pistol that i could do weekend shooting for fun and for concealed carry once im 21. taurus had nice prices, reliable, but safety in a self defense situation would be bad. im liking the glock but a little pricy for a teenager. if their is a best pistol that would be prefered over anything, give me a heads up. and what caliber? .380, 9mm, or .40

  • @snowsniper278 save your money get something nice your willing to pay 350+? for a Taurus but not 359-450 for a used glock?..

  • @snowsniper278 you could just buy a pistol with a safety and then just never actually use the safety if you are afraid about forgetting to disengage it in a "self defense situation".

  • @snowsniper278 if you are going to conceal carry just get a sub compact 9mm. a taurus 24-7 pro in 9mm. would be ideal. thats what i carry everyday, never a jam or anything at all. and ive put at least 1500 rounds through it. very accurate

  • @snowsniper278 Try to find a used glock maybe?! I have a Glock 45 model 21 ive had it since i was 16 or 17 im 22 as of today and its the best pistol ive ever owned or shot! It is still a big gun but the way its designed so well it feels great in my hands like it was molded for my hands and I have smaller hands im 5'10 130lbs and even though its a 45 it doesnt kick barely at all even though i dont have a ton of weight to keep the barrel down just dont need it. TRY TO FIND A USED 1

  • @snowsniper278 ALSO and this is just my opinion im not an expert or anything but in my opinion you should get a 45 it has plenty of power without being excessive. Ive heard a lot that 9mm arent desirable for self defense situations simply because (and i agree with this) supposedly a person still has a chance of coming after you after being shot a couple times with a 9mm so if they have a gun they can still shoot you and kill you too, carry a 45 that slug will knock their block off

  • I am a police officer in Brazil and use a "Taurus 24 / 7," and I can guarantee that gun is great, very good ...

  • hi sir! Have you done a review taurus pt111 mil pro? I like that gun as per what it looks like, but, I dont have an idea if its that good as it look. Any comment sir? That will help me decide on my purchase of my first handgun.

  • @nuthnplastic Choose Taurus PT 24/7 9mm Pro.. You wont regret..

  • @KimKrishDhoyz . . .. a bit late . . . I already took nutnfancy's & hickok45 advice from their vids . . . I already got my G19 Gen 3 US (Austrian made is not available in our place as of now. Anyway, thanks bro!!

  • @nuthnplastic Choose Taurus PT 24/7 9mm Pro. You wont regret. It has 3, actually 5 safety features, great for first time users

  • hey nutn i cant find too many shooting vid of u so could u put up a couple more plz.

    thanks

  • I own a 2009 Pt 24/7 PRO CDS in .40 S&W and love it except for the snappy recoil, its very obnoxious, other than that its an excellent firearm and one i use every day for CC.

  • Would like to see you do a review, and table top on the Taurus 738 TCP; the B,series, not the A series with all the bugs.

  • wow that gun i really quite

  • the trigger pull is long and stiff if the striker isnt cocked. but trigger reset is really short and crisp. dont let the trigger all the way out and it wont pull shots....DER KE DERRR!

  • Lets not forget the $350 price tag. + 1 for that.

  • nice,

whats double action supposed to mean here? im not sure lol

  • 100% correct about very long trigger pull. Mine went 600 rounds without a single jam no cleaning no nothing at one range outting before i finally cleaned it. The only time it ever jammed was using cheap "wolf" brand non polished shell ammo. I knew it was the ammo when it jammed 3 times within two mags worth, went back to my normal stuff and still no jam. Not a bad gun for the price it is now. I bought mine when the taurus first came out (mistake cause theyre so much cheaper now)

  • Thumbs up if you think Polymer should not be used for guns or cars...

  • thats a bb gun

  • I owned one of these for 4 months. I loved it at first but it didn't take long for me to find problems with the receiver and it jammed often. It is accurate and very ergonomic which is nice, but I wouldn't trust my life with it when it comes down to it. I prefer the Glock 19.

  • in my country philippines taurus are cheap.

  • 24/7 sucks go buy a 1911. and looks ugly.

  • @6220guy thumbs up to that>>>> 1911 is worth saving for...

  • Where at in Idaho are you shooting?

  • i had the 24/7 compact 40 cal and i was always ejecting the clip accidently while griping the gun!! didnt like the long trigger pull either!! not talking shit about the gun but i didnt like it!!

  • @RLN1972 Its not a clip, its a magazine.

  • @bigbobkropp you are correct it is a magazine!! just a little slang term there bro!!

  • y is there so much kick in that 9 milly

  • @TheJohn10992 i from alot of ppl say the 9mm 24/7 kick hard .. i got the 24/7 40.cal but i havent took to the range yet . i hop it just like my S&w sigma

  • That sounds like nutnfancy but no mention of a glock.

  • Can you get a reliable and durable 20 9mm magazine for this gun? Thank you in advance,

  • here in Brazil home of taurus industries the 24/7 is only avaliable for police, army members or collectors for normal people guns are limites to 380 cal...laws here are too ridiculous

  • @mesaquebrada Laws suck in brasil minus the drinking policy

  • @mesaquebrada True if it were not such laws would have an arsenal at home ... kkkk ... Let's see if these laws are revised in future Brazilian!

  • How could you determine a pistols accuracy with respect to the shooter's ability to aim? Suppose if the pistol is fired from a vice that is aligned perfectly to the target ( the center if you will ) and misses no matter how many times you adjusted the gun and if a skilled shooter (perhaps like yourself ) always hits the bullseye?

  • ive got the PT 24/7 Pro .40 cal and i fairly impressed with its accuracy. the trigger pull for sure is veryy long and no doubt takes some getting used to andi also am not much for how the controles for the gun are so close. a few times now ive confused my slide release for my safety lol but all in all if you have the patience to get used to this gun then its a great weapon!!!

  • I agree with nutnfancy with his comments in this video about the Taurus 24/7+. I would just like to add that I have had my Taurus PT 24/7 Pro C DS for over two years now and I love it. Absolutely no jams, malfunctions, or any issues. I've put maybe 1000 rounds through it so far, -so not near the 2000 mark yet. Once you get use to the trigger...well...it is different, but I like it.

  • "Hate the trigger." lmao

  • Unders stress who really NEEDS a safty. lol

  • this is an old version the newer ones are single action and only go to double on a bad primer

  • the pro version fixed the trigger problem i think

  • i have the same pistol, but i dont have any of the problems you are having.

  • You big cry baby, i got the .45 and no problems, and if you mistake the safty then you shouldn't be shooting a gun.

  • @Andy76522 Wow. That is an extremely ignorant thing to say. He means that in the heat of a life or death situation, it would be easy to try to rake the safety down and get that other lever by mistake. Though it might only cost you half a second, that could be what saves you or gets you killed. That's why there isn't a similar safety on the Glocks or Sigs.

  • GP100 ALL the Way Love That Gun full underlug and the cylinder release button is great and nicer than the ones on the Smith and "Wesson Can't wait for a review on that Beauty

  • whaoo idaho? i swear you get around lol gotta have love for my home state though!

  • People still say dig it?

  • @Vic7000Jr Cheesy people like us do. ;) -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • @nutnfancy Have you done a review on Taurus PT 809?

  • @nutnfancy Have you done a review on Taurus PT 809? What your rating for this gun?

  • The trigger on this has a long first but you only have to release 1/8th the way and it is ready to fire again. I carry one for conceal carry and practice 3 days a week and what he did to fire is what every expert tells you not to do. Do not release the trigger completely with each pull and only to point of trigger engagement.

  • @mmann58 don't release the trigger all the way, I have this gun in .40 and after you get used to it it's very effective

  • I own a 9mm 24 7 and your right long trigger pull, but once you get used to it, its fine for me. like any other gun takes some getting used to first time shooting. all together not a bad gun at all for the price and reliability.

  • where can get a trigger job and dos any do it ?

  • Just a shout out from Canada, love your guys videos. You seem like really cool people.

  • Out of this video, I liked the GP100 portion :)

  • you cant shoot at all

  • 3:52 Ricochet!

  • This guy must have hands of a gorilla, because I have the exact same gun and have never ever noticed the "sharp magazine release button."

  • @cowboy13102 its not sharp.... hands of a gorilla ? maybe a day old baby id say

  • @cowboy13102 cant the "sharp" edges be sanded down? I dont see the issue they have.

  • try learning to rapid fire a revolver in double action and you'll quit complaining about any simi-auto.

  • @redrok87 put a glock striker spring as i did and you will notice a grat difference.

  • @redrok87 put a glock striker spring as i did and you will notice a great difference.

  • Hehe i have shot one of those but the trigger is not even close to the harshness of my S&W sigma (12 Lbs).

  • do a panic shoot, you will only need abotu a ¼" of finger movement between rounds. Odd you magazine release was sharp, my .45 isnt. It definately requires adjustment if your comfortable with other standard triggers.

  • about the long trigger pull I learned how to let the guns recoil work for me in taking up the long pull and be ready to shoot the next round

  • A safety on a DAO? Why, Taurus!? Why!?

Not impressed with the bench rested groups. At 10 yards with a rest you should have a ragged hole.

  • Awesome video brotha, they're always helpful and entertaining. I'm lookin' to get my first pistol, and i'll be spending from 300 to 400. I'm liking the taurus the most for that range so far, plus my dad just got one too and he loves it. Take care.

  • Comment removed

  • @whyspeed123

it doesnt require a full release in between shots like a regular pistol. That actually makes for a much faster recovery. My 24/7 .45 only requires about a ¼ inch pull from shot to shot.

  • Do I see an incorrectly placed left thumb??

  • 24/7 = .40

  • @nutnfancy Hey I have a question for ya. I briefly browse Taurus' site to see if they sell a different mag release button or lowered trigger group, but I didn't see anything. Do you know if they sell a kit for it?

  • love the gun personally feels perfect to me... and the trigger pull gives time to adjust just incase or change my mind.. but yeah.. love the gun.. i can shoot targets the size of a quarter at the same distance..

  • i bought one of this gun and the sight and the barrel are not aligned it shoots very low.. try it

  • i bought one of this gun and the sight and the barrel are not aligned it shoots very low.. try it

  • @ifugao82 It might be the design of the sights you have, research the sights a bit and adjust accordingly. The sight type may take a bit to get used to.

  • lol at 10:56 it looks like he wet his pants

  • Wow, even with a trigger pull you did not like and sharp edges, you were dead on with the accuracy. Seems like the 24/7 Pro with single action would be the way to go.

  • 00.03 thats cool

  • If you know your gun and how your weapon handles, then trigger pull should not matter. The gun shoots straight, that about sums it up.

  • what a kick

  • The Taurus 24/7 PRO is completely diferent... New trigger, an awesome pistol.

  • @marcelododox Yep I love my 24/7 Pro both 40 and 9mm

  • i have the 24/7 pro 45 acp and i love it. id match it to any beretta or XDM or M&P of similar set up. the trigger could i gotten use to but over all great gun.

  • I am real interested in the 24/7 OSS version.Be nice to see review of it!

  • your an ass

  • Yeah, not a great gun i had it and traded it in, id say save the money and get an XD.

  • Had one in .45 and I hated it.

  • I don't really understand DAO triggers. I guess they're a bit safer, but unless you have a concealed revolver where you need to shave off the external hammer, I can't see a purpose. You're trading the ability to take an easy, accurate shot for the prevention of a (seemingly unlikely) accidental shot. I know which I would prefer, and I would go for one Taurus' SA/DA triggers. Does anyone else see a good reason for a DAO?

  • Lame "review". get a life you freak.

  • @SomeGreenTea why you think it was a lame review i thought it was a good 1 and i garenty that you couldnt do a better review you ass munch

  • No offense but I think you nitt pick too much.If anyone has a problem finding the safety on this gun under stress, shouldn't own a gun period. I have this exact gun in my hand at this second, watching this video ,fumbling around w/t the safety w/t the lights out and head turned.I have absolutely no problem engaging the safety.Picky, picky !

  • @demmylowther thats Right. He's A Little Male Whore Thats SENSITIVE."That Really Hurts my thumb"

  • if you are questioning nutnfancy's credibility for the gun review with the has he ever used a revolver maybe you should look at his channel and other videos before making yourself look like a dumbass

  • @timrollefson1 Fuck You Too Ya little Bitch Prick. Go Suck On your glock thumb.

  • Al you need Is One to the head Hes a bitch complaining about THAT HURTS MY THUMB WAA! Or LONG TRIGGER PULL IM TOO WEAK!! has he ever used a revolver?

  • @ nutnfancy Thank for the video. I was looking at one of these in the .40. They are comfortable, but I was wondering how they perform.

  • The new pro models have a single action trigger and are much better!

  • Gun from GTA San andreas.

  • @bouttobreak12 neither of the handguns in san andreas are real. there based on the glock and desert eagle tho.

  • @tcbat711 SHut the fuck up. The Gun In san andreas was a 9mm 1911.

  • i have the .40 cal variant

  • Hey Im about to buy a pistol and I was wondering what has more stopping power and accuracy da 357 semi auto r the 40 cal

  • both are good calibers. it does not really depend on the caliber, it depends on the gun and the barrel length

  • hey! im left eye dominant and right-handed! but i just shoot left-handed, easier for me

  • i dont own one but ive shot one and it does have a long trigger pull even the airsoft version of it does i dont like it eaither id perfer a glock 17 or 19 anyday

  • @guardian

    You can adjust trigger pulls.

  • lol seriously u ever shoot one? you ever put 10000 rounds through one? you ever herd if a second strike feature so if you got a weak primer you have a second chance for a second strike without racking the slide... how about the unconditional lifetime warranty? seriously dude if you dont know wtf ur talking about then stfu

these are awesome guns though seriously i love mine functions flawless reserch guns and ammo magazine 2007 issues for their review

  • RIGHT ON, GREAT GUN

  • lemme guess.. GLAWK IS GUUD? or are you more of a kimber snob?

  • neither, i am more of a sig or hk person.

  • @lvcss

lol that is funny as hell. I can't stand 1911 and Glock fanboys. I have had to work with Glock 22's and Glock 17's, they are uncomfortable as hell and over priced. 1911 as a novelty is great but using a single stack over priced gun that was designed a 100 years ago for defense or combat is just plain stupid. Every .45 out there is superior to a 1911.

  • @Warpath2198 the Glock thing is opinion, some people like the grips I'm like you I don't. As far as the 1911, I'm sorry but your just flat out wrong, yes a full sized 1911 is impractical for carry these days but the design isn't novelty that's why some of the best competition shooters use 1911s. They are reliable(will shoot dirty if there greased unlike a lot of "modern guns") comfortable, handles recoil well due to weight and are simple.

  • @richiestang78Let's see, the best competition shooters use them, they are reliable when dirty & lubed, comfortable, simple, handle recoil well. It is a mature, proven design that is over 100 years old. OK! YOU GUYS SOLD ME! As for being impractical for daily carry- I wear a full size (5 in) Para Ord, 45acp loaded w/ 15 rounds of 230 gr Rem Golden Sabre & 1 spare mag w/ 14 rounds of same...12-14 hours a day, 6 days a week ,mostly concealed. I find it ...very comfortable. Sign me... 1911 fanboy

  • @sbd45acp and i know some people do, but for most it will get old pretty fast. I carry a glock 36 and wouldn't want to carry anything else long term.

  • @richiestang78 I realized a long time ago... I am not,- most people

  • @Warpath2198 OK the most popular polymer framed pistol of all time is "uncomfortable as hell and over priced." Using the most successful, proven & enduring combat pistol of all time "for defense or combat is just plain stupid."& "Every (other) sic .45 out there is superior to a 1911." That's why-Colt,Springfield,Smith&Wesson! Kimber, SIG!,Taurus, Remington,Double Star,Auto-Ord, Dan Wesson, Rock Island,Ed Brown, Wilson Combat, Nighthawk, Novak, Para Ordnance,Desert Eagle! All sell 1000's

  • I have one and love it.

  • have a 24/7 pro ds in a .45 and love it, i'm a sniper at 7 yards lol.. but its a really fun gun and feels great in my hand good video nutn thanks again....

  • @guerreiordecristo

hey you dumb asshole........let me put a round on ur ass and Ill see if its a trash "wepon"

  • trigger pull is a bit long on the fist shot then it goes to a short light trigger pull.. I have a 40. 24-7 and for the price it's not that bad of a gun.

  • lol racist

  • Thank goodness the "PRO" models changed to a single action trigger!

  • wow is you wrist really kicking "that" much from a 9mm?

  • 9mm tends to have more horizontal recoil and .45 tends to have more vertical recoil

  • It didn't ahve a long trigger pull by any chance did it?

  • So how is the trigger pull? long? Is the trigger pull long? out there, in the idaho dessert. I bet that trigger pull is long tho. Did I already ask you how the trigger pull was before the light faded out, there in the idaho dessert. With that long trigger pull?

  • WOW-- 7-10 yard test for accuracy, 3 magazines of 1 type ammo on 1 type target, 1 shooter who repeated states he hates the trigger pull, another rapid firing a shotgun pattern at 7 yards, a third who seems to know how to shoot DA, but the light is changing /fading fast. What did I really learn about the accuracy that the GUN is capable of?

  • just got my pt 24/7 pro ds, 9mm with 17rd mag. The trigger pull for the first shot is long but the following shots are alot shorter. After you shoot the first one you should only release the trigger half way. its a little diff than a glock.

  • truly

  • @sbd45acp haha i agree

  • put tons of rounds throught my pt145

with no failures...my littles sis's pt745 didn't load hollow points out of the box, but they made it right.

  • A friend of mine loaned me one of these in .45 when i was going to the range a few years ago to try out. I was for sale, he only wanted $300 for it and i was seriously considering it, but we had several failures to fire. Not sure if there was a mechanical issue or if the gun was just dirty but that turned me off big time. I think it was an early production gun (I believe they are supposed to be 2nd strike capable but this one wasn't) so maybe it was a problem they fixed later on?

  • I own a 24/7 and you really do get used to the trigger pull and the "sharp edge" and i am extremly happy with the accuracy

  • @2:44

what rifle is on the table there???

  • @ 2:55 you have your left index finger over the trigger guard while shooting. Is that a normal shooting position, or just personal preference?

  • Talking about stress your not going to be in a traditional shooter stance and your not going to be holding your breathe. Training holding your breathe is stupid and so is using a traditional stance. Check out combat focus they got it right as far as shooting goes. Also people complaining about release levers during "stress" why are you trying to manipulate a lever under stress? just pull the slide back and train it. Don't use silly release levers.

  • This gun is pretty affordable. I could have picked up a .40 for around 3.

  • The only gun I would buy from Tauras is their 1911 only because it is affordable.

  • what abaut the taurus 738 tcp

  • ei.. ive been reading all the post.. can someone give some comments on the new 800 series... also to the 24/7 series.. i really like to read some new post, comments, suggestions, and reaction...

photos and videos are really much appreciated.. thanks and more power

  • When I said fatty I wasn't talking about Nutnfancy lol

  • No Udaho!

  • what about the 24/7 pro .45 ACP?

  • My friend owns one and I do have me, him, and my best friend shooting in my videos. I also own a step down from the .45, I use a Taurus 24/7 Pro DS .40 S&W. Both are damn good guns and are better than the 9mm. BTW... small tip: 9mm version doesn't come with a second magazine unlike the .40 and .45 comes with a second mag apon being purchased from ANY seller. (Except for Pawn Shops.)

  • OK thanks but are you going to show a video on its performance if you do i would realy appreciate it thanks

  • My .40 or my friends .45? If your looking for the .45 I have 3 videos of shooting it. It's excessively accurate btw.

  • I just bought the 24/7 9mm pro. Its a very accurate and reliable gun. In the marines, I shot many weapons and this one is very good.

  • oh cmon.. of all people i would think you would know the difference between a magazine and a clip.. tsk tsk

  • dang.. that is one silent gun

  • silent ? its a desert ..on open water and deserts guns sound "quite"

  • Even though Taurus firearms aren't as popular in our nation of the U.S.(not even adopted by any law enforcement agency here). But,I would rather have a Taurus than one of those cheap&cheesey Hi-point made pistols.

For combat-warfare use,I would also rather have a Taurus 9mm/.45 pistol than a quality 6 shot revolver.
