  • nice run!! what kind of performance mods do you have?

  • Thanks! Performance mods: PFADT coilovers, T1 swaybars, carbotech pads, hoosier R6 tires, 385rwhp :)

  • ohh and headers no cats etc

  • Nice run ! Thats what i call getting it done.

  • Wow man your a natural. I'll work my way up HPDE in 2009 and possibly start TTA in 2010. Toy Run was a blast. RA was great I was having fun and scared at the same time. Time to sign up for CMP! I will mostly be running RA and CMP this year. Oh yeah gratz on your first race!

  • with the rear spoiler I can't make it over 140 at any track except @ MidOhio (long downhill straight) and I only get to 145ish

  • Yep...have some crazy footage but have yet to upload it...I just rented my friends for this weekend but bought a stock '99 miata on Fri and will be turning it into a spec miata over the next 2 months :)

  • Didn't see you at the Toy Run. Did you make it?

  • Yep I was there freezing my ass off but left the vette at home and ran a spec miata in the race group and nabbed 3rd place! Not too bad for my first race :) The race on Sunday with all 80 cars was pure insanity!

  • Freakin kick ass Spanky, kick ass! Congrats on the record!

  • Holy shit your fast! I just bought a 2003 Z06 this past march and did my first HPDE at CMP in July (NASA SE!). What a blast! I'll be at Road Atlanta in December also. How long did it take you from your first HPDE to TT? What is the base class for a bone stock C5Z? Kick ass vid. Thanks and see you at the track!

  • Thanks Spanky for posting this. By comparing our laps side by side, I've been able to see where I need to improve. Did I mention that you're phuckin nuts?

  • Thanks bud!....glad this helped ya out...keep tearin' it up out there! :)

  • yea i sent the comment in the beginning of the video so i didnt really notice you doing heel toe, heel toe rev matching does sound alot different sometimes its almost not noticable. sweet ride though dude, it looks like all of your hard work paid off and you have alot of fun racing it. ive heard alot of good things about those tires. im thinking of trying out the new BFG R1 to see if its anygood for road racing in my camaro. thanks for the details. check out my SS when u get a chance.

  • how come you dont rev match when u downshift?... just curious. and what kind of tires do you use? the responsiveness looks great.

  • Thanks...I actually do 'rev match' also called heel toe...the clutch is in when I'm downshifting and blip all under braking..then I let the clutch out....all happens really quick but heel toe is mandatory to go fast for sure. I'm running Kumho V710s here..thanks again!

  • that's what I'm talkin' 'bout! I love it!

  • Don't need a four leaf clover with that driven baby! JMJ

  • lol! Well with a last name McGillicuddy I've got a bit of Irish in me hahaha..thanks man!

  • Nice driving.... go get 'em at MO.

  • Congrats!! Some really nice driving.

  • Congrats Spanky! You are going to do great at NASA Nationals this year. See you there!

  • Thanks James! See you in a few weeks!

  • Nice driving!
