  • My favorite hip hop album illmatic no douts no question

  • And in the future. Part of this song is used in nikes on my feet by mac miller

  • Waking up to this song is truly glorious.

  • I like Mac Miller took his line "Nikes on my feet keep my cipher complete" and now he takes the credit and everyone rides his nuts for it. Give tribute to the original people !

  • @BasketballWorld1523 Mac Miller didn't "take" Nas' line. Its called a sample. It is frequently used in hip-hop production.

Mac Miller never took credit for it. It's the young fans that don't know much giving him credit for it. Trust me , Mac Miller knows his hip hop. It was a dope sample, from a dope line.

  • @bblvdOG True i feel you . Maybe i worded that wrong . But i still hate it when you try and tell people about the originators and they're so oblivious to anything except whats going on today .

  • @BasketballWorld1523 Yeah, that's just how it is. Pisses me off too, but you can't really do anything about it. Those people aren't really music fans anyway. They will grow out of the little phase of radio music.

Its good to know , looking at all the comments and views on this video that a lot of people still appreciate the classic, pure hip-hop like this.

  • were can i downloads this plz !!

  • Legendary mix, grats to whoever did this.

  • THIS SONG CHANGED MY ENTIRE LIFE.

  • I prefer this to the original.

  • @CymroGoch NEVER compare a song to the original The World is Yours!!

  • this has to be the best mix out of all of them. i can even go so far to say that its better than the original

  • hes making a new album called life is good

  • this is beautiful

  • wipe the sweat off the dome, spit the phlegm on the street, and the nikes on the feet keep the cipher complete.

  • the second verse is different from the original one

  • how come this tune has only 65,000 views, this is one of the deepest tune ever nas is alegend

  • one of the remixes ever

  • I much rather prefer the original. This sounds like his words are on top of the beat. Not wrapped into.

  • @BoBtheparrot7 that makes no sense because 1. every hip-hop song is recorded with a separate vocal track so every single song sounds like the words are on top of the beat because they literally are and 2. nas recorded a new verse for this version so, by your logic, the words really are "wrapped into" the song because the 2nd verse is original to this beat.

  • @iseankimi I know how tracks are laid down. I'm just saying it sounds like someone didn't mix right or something. It just doesnt sound as natural as the original. This sound more like a studio cut rather than just a quick spit.

  • "and the nikes on my feet keep my cypher complete" nas said it first, not mac miller.

  • @ntschoeke How about we all talk about whos important such as Nas, and not Mac Miller or Justin Bieber. People always mention Mac Millers verse. We all know. Jesus

  • @HipHopMixstaz easy dude, i'm just trying to make a point, cause most people think whack miller came up with that line. just trying to give the legend the respect he deserves.

  • One of the dopest rap remixes ever. Perfect melody and drums and a flawless lyrical delivery.

  • One of the dopest remixes in hip-hop music from those times. Perfect melody and a perfect lyrically delivery.

  • I woke up to this song every morning in high school...the beginning reminds me of the sunrise for some reason. I will definitely be doing the same for my son...he needs to leave the house knowing "the world is yours."

  • @Jordanremix21 And the end is like the sunset....I feel that

  • THis mix is HOTTT. LOVE you nas

  • tune

  • I fuckin love this remix

  • Classic nas big up's to the true school zulu nation rock on!

  • I fucking love thiz track

  • @bblvdOG nikes on my feet. but he didnt steal it he just used that line. mac miller is a huge fan of nas, and reveres him enough to use him in his music

  • this is the best hip hop beat of all time. not to mention the verses themselves are fucking amazing

  • MAC MILLER STOLE HIS LINE AND WROTE AN ENTIRE SONG ABOUT IT. PITTSBURGH RAPPER JACKS BEATS AND LINES AND THEN HIDES UNDER TAYLOR GANG...fuck mac miller

  • its called paying homage fool. EVERY emcee does it. i can't stand mac miller as much as the next guy but he didnt jack anything from nas

  • this is better than the original, imo

  • this is the fake remix

  • @JackedUpStunts what the fuck are you talking about. this is the remix on his 10th anniversey illmatic album. you cunt

  • @rejee123 Well I dont like it....

  • @JackedUpStunts well you mate know nothing about music. go back to lil wayne you goon

  • @rejee123 HA! Thats verry funny.

  • @rejee123 its all good homie..some people just cant appreciate REAL hip hop..fuck lil wayne, fuck drake, fuck all these wanna be gangsta rappers..nas is truely classic

  • @dfizz313 yea it is, there is another one your right but this is off the illmatic bonus disc

  • @dfizz313 ok but this is not the OG remix, I have it in my favs

  • The old beat flows so much better with the words compared to this one.

  • @IVIonkey123, obviously.... it was recorded to that beat and written to that beat, but this is very good too.

  • Is just me, or is this song the most uplifting Hip Hop Song in History?

  • @wontonking that is the realest shit i've heard in a long while. I completely agree with you, it is.

  • @wontonking it's definitely just you, man.

  • @eyesmayshine more like its just you that disagrees

go bump some jay z and get outta here

  • @ThumbsUpMike hahahaha. weak.

  • the nikes on my feet keep my cypher complete.

  • tbh this beat is good in its own way, but i reckon the original is more subtle, and it fits nas' lyrics better

  • I prefer thius to the original! beats crazy

  • Better than the original!! GOD BLESS YOUR LIFE

  • this beat uses the same sample as michelle branch's one of these days......

  • @2Good4MyOwnGood You trippin... similar but nowhere near same

  • @deslynam01 listen to kev brown's remix of this, totally shits on this wack beat

  • @MrDirtdevil91 I heard it and it's nowhere near this one. Not even the original. Stop trying to spam your video.

  • @pakam1962 too bad I'm not Kev Brown & it's not my video smart ass

  • yo who produced this remix?

  • @twoohhunoh Vibesmen

  • nas is real hiphop every track hes on is just another hit

  • this is my hype song

  • "Born alone, die alone. No crew to keep my crown or throne. Im deep by sound alone, caved inside a thousand miles from home."

Favorite rap lyrics. Don't hear stuff like this anymore (except from nas every once in a while)

  • @NastyNasisback most underrated rapper of all times

  • @NastyNasisback A few cats such as Elzhi still spit like this. Elzhi is actually gonna be dropping a mixtape called eLmatic in which he raps over beats from illmatic. You can look up on youtube Elzhi - The world is yours. The third video down you can hear a sneak peak of it

  • this shit is so official

  • YABAI

  • Born alone die alone no crew to keep my crown or throne.

  • this song and Az gimme yours are my favorite songs.

nas last verse in this song was the realest shit ever.

im brought alone to die alone.

  • I liked all the originals better.

    Except this one

  • i loved the original..

and then this came out... and... its like magical

the piano. its so chill. makes me beat mi head x]

  • I used to listen to this song every day on the schoolbus. To me, the beat is more intense and engaging than the original.

  • Yup. When I got my first Nas album I liked the remixes in the back better than the originals in some cases. This was a magical one,...

  • this beat is amazing!! the feelings while listening is incredible!! this remix brings something new, a feeling of peace and rest!!

  • Its Yours!!!!

  • a pimp ho classic

  • Who said R&B aint hip hop? I bet half the songs, no 75% the songs you like got R&B in it. You sound like a tough guy phony. This is supposed to be an enlightening song. Hence the jazzy piano.

  • fuQ 666, itZ 999 Now fagZ. fagZ Mean 4ever Above gangStarZ........ from A 2 Z- Philly bitch.

  • RZY215BAD. The World iZ YourZ, early.

  • This beat means to me Nas has grown up , like we all have to do at one point in life. For those of us lucky enough to have grown up in the golden era of hip hop...feel this song.

In way or another we all made it , now it's up to us write the ending. Peace from L.A.

  • Dam the 10th anniversary platinum Illamatic is on steroids cause the its so gooodddd

  • this remix gives this successful feeling to it, like how illmatic was successful in arguably becoming rap's best album. love it.

  • hot shit, this aint really a remix becuse he did his lyrics over again....... do your history busters

  • For the subject matter this beat is fire to me but thats the best part of the music game you dont have to like what I like lol

  • This was on the actual 10 year anniversary Illmatic album. If you hatin on this then you hatin on Nas..

  • That's ludicrous, just because it was officially released doesn't mean anything.

  • It means Nas obviously feels this track

  • Not necessarily, remixes are often commissioned by the label without consultation with the artist.

  • He worked on the album

  • yeah this is a tuff remix madd props!

  • your on crack!

  • probably one of my favorite Nas songs. Its amazing
