How come the general example of the Chaos Theory often uses something slight which happened then the factors grow greater until somehing greater happenes from the original action?

It would be cool to see a butterfly flap its wings until it moved a blade of grass and rustled some soil beneath, which made an earth worm fart.

@abbiesaunderssmythe Actually it started with the jacket, and then he picked up the flower, and then he was running so he bumped into the guy in his haste, which made him step backwards into the street and not look where he was going, and he tripped, and he was so low on the ground the lady didn't see him. Or, that's how I saw it.

Yes the chaos idea is a beautiful way of thinking and something i also think about everysingle day and one of the scientific ideas that really puzzle me but i dont really understand how dropping my soap in the shower would help me meet a friend from long ago. The chaos theory/butterfly effect is probably the most amazing scientific thing ever, and I don't even like science. Just think, of all the things you do, each one has a reaction that could be more significant than you can imagine. Slipping on the soap in the shower could make you end up meeting your best friend for life by the end of the day, and even that's thinking small scale. Whatever bad thing happens to you, a new door opens for a great thing. So cool.

I think, it supposed to show that everything you touch is a affected. The way the flower and the other guy changed colours. And that you shouldnt try to change the future, because in the event of you chaning it, the exact thing you didnt wantto happen, would happen.
