People did you know? she had "loop" backwing when she joined tour.. now she has very compact swing because her coach told her to take on the rice.. and this swing suit for that.... i believe this is beautiful swing... look solid she hits the ball....so different from players today.. most players today got wiper swing.. this swing is more like Connors swing.. driving... but she still can compete with this swing... just beautiful to watch... last thing.. it looks simple, but very hard to copy
She has strange takebacks. Probably because she's natural lefty (actually ambidextrous but lefty slanted) but she's right handed when she holds the racket.
@trent8002003 Not so. I have seen so many comments like yours in the Net. I know where it came from, Mary Carillo. She never misses the comment on TV whenever she comments on Kimiko. Look what happened! You and so many others.:-)
Her unusual strokes are the product (evolvement) of her efforts in playing against big players. It is the most famous story of all about Kimiko.
@tomashiby What's your point? What evolution agst playing great players? What I said (or Mary Carillo said) is also an evolution agst playing great players - she is born lefty but she turned rightie too so she has greater reach in a tennis match. Are you saying she is not ambidextrous? If so, what's your source please?
