I tried to do this, but my hair wasn't as sleek so the curls didn't look all smooth like how your do. There were shorter pieces of hair poking out. Did you prep your hair with moisturizer before you did this style?

me too. But I put on some wax and I straighten my hair by layers and it helps. Just add a little frizz proof cream if you don't want to use wax

Let me be perfectly clear about this thing my hair is doing. It isn't just from the bantu knots. I washed my hair today, then piled on alot of conditioner, used a wide-toothed comb for detangling. I rinsed, then applied the curly pudding. Nothing unusual.I know my hair won't grow if it is knotting itself.Even when I used your butter/aloe detangler, my hair was very easy to comb thru, but once it was dry I could go through my hair and found single strand knots!

try a detangler like lustersilk 30 second hair repair and use a denman brush- take your time and be gentle- those are precious strands that your invested in... treat them kindly!

I also tried missjessies, since it is not aa all natural product, it didn't do well for my hair-really dry.
