Yes, Persian culture is stronger in Tajikistan than probably in Iran right now. Unfortuantly Iran's current government cares about Shia Islam first. Hopefully that will change one day. I agree, long live all Parsi people!
The reason why some of us tajiks have chinese-oriental like feature is because of the close proximity of other countries and intermarriages btw us and the uzbeks for instance, etc. Ethnic koreans who immigrated to the soviet union have also contributed to these intermarriages. But its utterly unimportant as we are all tajiks and are united through our language and culture.

I am Afghan - Tajik from Panjsher and in some areas we also look kinda Chinese but its not everywhere.
