hey can you give me the site or what you had to do i have a mercury mountaineer with taht 4.0l and i want a chevy 350 and a 700r4 how and where could i get instrucutions on how to do the swap
pretty nice thought it woulda been a bit faster, your truck looks really good, You shoulda used a 700r4 it has a lower first gear and overdrive, I took the 4cyl out of my jeep cherokee and put in a 350/700r4 and fixing to go 5.13's im on 33's
Yeah but it aint faster when you completely fry out gears. 700r4's are nice until you blow out two of them one after another. TH-400s are pretty much bullet proof.
