  • VERY useful. i love it. i am thinking of taking both. major in graphic design which is my biggest strength because i just plainly love design. minor in web design which i don't have much experience at but i feel like it will help my career.

  • At their core, they are the same. But neither one can make the jump from one field to the other and churn out award-quality work. Both of these fields have very focused skill sets that don't translate natively into the other, even though some aspects are similar. But, if you have a passion for design and layout, a graphic designer could quickly learn how to make an attractive and usable site using existing composition skills.
