i agree. the practicality of such a cumbersome "walking tank" would be severely limited in multiple applications on the battle field, as modern technology does not really allow for such a large target to move quickly, and an aerial assault would be devastating. Scale them down to personal armor and THEN there may be some chance.

It'd be hilarious to see one of these things fall over! All majestic one minute the next its thudding into the dirt and waggling on its back, its arms in the air.

Plus if its a manned suit thing then the person inside would be puréed by the fall from that height. The cockpit would take some cleaning to get them out...
