Crystal was born in Beijing but went to American for her education when she was 10 years old.Her father is a professor at one of the university if China,her mother was a professional art performer.Crystal was well trained with her piano and dancing before she went back to China for the formal acting training school in China. I guess the education in America had a great benefit for her acting career. it would also affect her thinking and the views about the world beyond China.
