  • @supachito its you funny mention old skool because back in my day skinny jeans were in. Skaters and Rappers wore 'em back in the 80's. The style has come back and evolved a little and more commercial.

  • I definitely kept rewinding this track, in the day on cassette, hiphop classic

  • listen to the lyrics and hear the vivid description,CREATIVITY AT ITS BEST,these raps are timeless, sorry that the rest of the country was unaware to what was going on in the south for the most part. REAL AND RAW!!

  • this takes me back to when I was 11 yrs old(and yes i am white, and yes I grew up in the hood), luckily my mom was cool enough she didn't care what i listened to. but this music is what I grew up on. This was my favorite track on this album-just goes to show, can't anything fade this great music- GB's 4 LIFE

  • Geto Boys (originally spelled Ghetto Boys) is a hip hop group from Houston, Texas The Geto Boys earned notoriety for its transgressive lyrics which included gore, psychotic experiences, necrophilia, and misogyny. The Geto Boys broke new ground with their soulful southern sound (perhaps a precursor to the Dirty South style),

  • this shit makes me remember how it was to really have to be hard back in the days-

  • This is an OG song. Coming from west coast in early 90's smoking weed in a garage with gats stuffed under the house

  • i thought its from the south ! ?

  • Geto Boys (originally spelled Ghetto Boys) is a hip hop group from Houston, Texas

  • @nbeope

    Heeeeelll yeah nigga

  • @nbeope since when are the GetoBoys from the westcoast...?t

  • @nbeope More like, coming from the east coast, smoking weed in the house, with gats stuffed under the couch.

  • @nbeope The Geto Boys are from texas though man.

  • @nbeope it is OG as fuck, but not west coast, geto boys are as dirty south as it gets.

  • @nbeope yo its dirty south you dumb ignoranus. Ya'll need to get ya facts straight nigga. .......u sux cox n dix haha

  • Just another young nigga in this world tryna have something...

    DMX. eminem and busta ryhmes?.....

    lolol

  • @tube16user Stop with these gay ass posts.

  • @Ostrasize Werd the fuck up to that shit!

  • @tube16user I agree except eminem

  • When they brought BIG Mike in to replace Willie D They made a good descision but when Willie D came back and they made Big Mike leave they never really had another good album after that. Cuz this album is right up there with the Chronic Ib my opinion.

  • ummm...the resurrection? the foundation? those are like the best albums dude, along with their other albums as well

  • If you can put on an album and not skip through any songs and just listen to the whole thing from track one to the end, Then Its a classic those other 2 geto boyz joints were aight but there were tracks I skipped through Til Death Do Us Part hands down classic from beginning 2 end!

  • i dunno man i never skip a gb track or willie d track for that matter

  • Then Youve heard Willie Ds album "Play Wicha Mamma" Right

  • lol you didnt like it? he uses the skits to make a point, its still artisitc. but to each his own i guess

  • I Just think They should've kept Big Mike His first solo joint was the shit! DMGs Rigormortiz was hot 2

  • agreed. rigormortiz was dope, so was seagram's the dark roads, and point blank's prone to bad dreams, and ganksta nip's south park psycho...every song on those albums is good

  • Big Mike is good but he's not Willie D. The Foundation is their second best album after We Can't Be Stopped, imo

  • Willie D could never Rhyme hes way to behind the times his rhyme scheme is maaaaad simple!

  • let that shit go they call it boasting not the ghetto times we remeber

  • Now this one takes me way back!!

this is when the tunes was the shit

  • Big Mike is in da house.

  • yea geto boys da real kingz of da south - still. got all the ol albums on vinyl ´n wouldnt trade em fo nuttin /

  • now that's the type of shit I'm talking about

  • I would kill to have this on vinyl. I had a Rap-A-Lot Records shirt when I was in the 8th grade.I had to order it from the label. it was badass. I was a 13-year-old white kid with a Rap-A-Lot Records shirt!! I'm 28 now and damn I miss that shirt. I knew back then that Geto Boys were different, and listening to them now makes it all the more clear. There was nothing like them.

  • this here is a southern classic playa.....if you get big mikes solo debut album "something serious" he has a joint called "on da real" it has the same beat as this song but he spitts different verses.........the shit is fire 4real.

  • lol " No one wanted to be the cop" classic" I grew up with these beats!

  • we still bump this shit here in south central

  • we still bump it in new hampshire

  • "we still bump it in new hampshire"- why am I not suprised? I grew up in NY and had little brothers in NH. I went there for vacation when I was a teenager and they were still lisrtenting to Kriss Kross "JUMP" in like 1996 LMAO
