  • Thanks for the memories. My Dad, Mel Holland built the chassis and was part of the pit crew. It was so cool to see my brother Mel Jr. in the later clips, a real treat! Thanks

  • awesome clips but how about some sixties tunes in the background instead of the1980's dentist office effect?

  • most of this is at Lions, not Fremont.

  • I heard that to, that near by residents would complain about the noise all the time. Wish they never took it out, now they have that stupid auto mall were it once was!!! Times has changed for the worst. No were close to race for Friday and Saturday night grudge matches

  • can someone please tell me why they got rid of this??

  • @1HOTLS1 rich fagots complaining in the hills :'(

  • Wow those old videos are cool, wish that place was still their. Funny that my grandma back in the 60's used to race her brand new 64 chevelle their. I always hear storys about that place during the 409 days!!!

  • Back in 67 the 2 top fuel roadsters were "Pure Heaven," and "Pure Hell." They were both bitchen machines. I never missed their duels at Fremont. Grudge night was awsome too.

  • Rich Guasco had the Pure Hell Car and his roadster won AMBR in 1960 at the Oakland Roadster show.I think he still lives out here in Danville

  • Excellent Footage!! I'm a former employess of Vic Hubbard in Fremont 89-91
