Just beat this, the secret to the first part is to try not to jump, if you keep hitting that bouncing ball from a low angle it'll more likely detonate on wily's face.

Also I got the quick draw achievement, I thought I was a goner because I forgot M-tanks refill everything, even health. Luckily I used it out of desperation and was greeted with that nice health boost.

@dumdudidum While ignoring your language I do agree with you somewhat. In my opinion you should be able to save after each Wily stage so you're not forced to play through them in one sitting. They made it possible in Megaman 10 but only on easy which I don't agree with at all. It should be a feature for all difficulties.

On your specific problem with having to re-defeat the 8 Robot Masters I can only suggest you exploit their weakness which you are probably already doing. Keep it up!

I see how you did this! You got lucky on the third form. I thought you were eons past my skill. Yeah, for me, the third form CONSTANTLY goes too high for me to hit him, then I have trouble dodging his attacks.

Why don't you use Black Hole and T. Blow to soak up his shots? They can soak up ALL his shots, including the orange bolts. I've already said this in the description though, you should read it if you haven't done so already.

I do. But I only have so much. When he constantly goes too high for me to reach, I end up running out. Besides, I got the achievement the day I posted that. I just had to refight him over and over and over until he fought me with a pattern I could work with.

I'm pissed. I got to the final level (My 4th time beating the game) and I got to him, I haven't used any items by this point. I get to the final form and assume I can win if I use my M-Tank...well, I lost...so, if I still want the achievement for no M-Tanks or E-Tanks, I have to restart all Wily levels.

This is the first time I beat the boss. Thus I died a lot of times before I could get the hang of things and I run out of ammo for C.Shot a long time ago.

I'm sorry that I take damage on the third form but this was made for those who want the Coffee Break achievement, not Mr. Perfect. To beat the third form without taking damage I would use Black Hole Bomb and T.Blow to protect me, also save a M Tank so you don't run out of ammo. I doubt I would use P.Ball though because it is easy to get hit.

You get a LOT of practice on this guy when going for both Truly Hardcore (beat 30 times) and Mr. Perfect (beat without getting hit once). I have a file at Wily without having gotten hit for Mr. Perfect and I'm beating the game over and over, trying to not get hit once through all the Wily stages--very tough, but I go all the way through every time to get wins toward Truly Hardcore. My only items are an M-tank and Eddie Call for weapon replenishment and I beat it every time.

I didn't say this game sucks, it is my favorite game. the first time playing it really sucked though, but that doesn't matter since I found an easy way to kill it without any E-Tanks.

If you are having problems with just beating him I advise you to get 9 E-tanks, 1 M-tank and 1/2 damage item, possibly 9 lives also. It's not THAT hard after that. If you want the No coffee break achievement, remember that you can still use the 1/2 damage item, you should also check this video description for some tactics.

Indeed, but you might not have a lot of ammo for it if you used it to beat Galaxy Man and you can't use a Mystery Tank if you want to get the "No Coffee Break" Achievement. I bet that you can beat the first 2 forms with the M. Buster quite easy once you can beat the third form without healing items.
