  • Yeah it does sound like he said the letter F at 00:50 hmm!

I remember loving the sound of the leopard laughing at the lion, heh so cute :)

  • is it just the static or does he say the letter F instead of L at 00:50 ?

  • I can't get over that younger kid's dark dark tan! Or a laughing leopard!

  • The music here is the same as 'Joe and the Junebug,' and the pattern is the same as the clips for 'A,' 'D' and 'J' ('Archer,'

'Dinosaur,' and 'Junebug') in which the beginning line is 'Like to hear a story about...?' and the ending is a moral featuring alliteration involving the featured letter.

  • I noticed that about the music too. This also has a little snippet of rather funny music that appears in "Paddleball to 20".

  • Actually, I was thinking about that, too. A lot of music featured in this clip was used in other Sesame Street animated clips from the early years. Some of these include - like you mentioned - 'Paddleball,' as well as 'Joe and the Junebug,' 'Virgil and the Letter V,' 'A for Archer,' the 'botched rocket countdown' series, and 'G for Goat and Grass.' All of these put together make for an interesting, well-seasoned, and provocative combination!

  • I'm afraid the boys got the moral a little backwards.

  • Well, it depends on whether you're talking about the leopard leaping and landing on the lion, or the lion leaping and attempting (yet failing) to land on the leopard!
