In my minds eye recall the 'inspection' aeriel shot of Dalek downstairs as after Jamie is on Minstrels gallery and peeps over. What I thought was the same Dalek then appeared on their level from the back. The sliding wall think was in a back room. The duo hid, and formed a trip wire with the rope across the bannister. He then called to the Dalek from hidden point. They get behind and push it against the tripwire and over bannister. Think they pushed another Dalek through the hole already made.
I saw this in Hong Kong in !971(roughly) They were years behind in BBC programs. Also in !967 in England. So I saw it twice, years apart. The best ever DR Who adventure with Gothic Victorian Poe like drama, contrasted with Art deco of the Daleks and grimy '60s London. Alchemists and double bluffs abound. This was a very visual TV program. Congradulations on so far. Unfortunatly the very end of this adventure, as reconstructed on Tomb of Cybermen DVD, does not really do it visual justice.
