(...cont) Jesus said the gospel of the kingdom would be preached to "all nations" and that THEN "the end will come." Paul says in Col 1:6, 23 and Rom 10:17-18 that it has gone out into all the world. Therefore "the end has come" to the Old Covenant. Thus, according to Daniel, if the end has come then the resurrection has taken place. (Daniel 12:2, 4, 9, 10, 13.) This seems to be the Jewish expectation which may be why new Gentile Christians missed the theological implication.
Ah, I just watched your video on the gospel going out into all the world. Should have watched it before commenting the above here. It think it's amazing that all we do is read the bible for these connections and yet we keep coming the the exact same conclusions. Praise God his word is clear and resounding even two millennia into the future.
Flawless, brother. The thing about the "thousand year reign" is that it is about Satan (the strong man) being bound. He is bound from deceiving nations. This is Jesus allowing his gospel to be spread to the nations so the end can come when, as you mentioned, until all things were under his feet and the Old Covenant obsolete and disappeared. Is it a stretch to say that this particular period was the transition of Rome into Christendom (Byzantium)? The rock that became a mountain? (cont.)
