  • normally if the PIC(Pilot in command) has the Spoilers set to auto, they retract when he sets power back to idle, but normal procedure is to keep them up untill they exit the active runway.

  • Some pilots dont retract the spoilers sometines because its required by united airlines

  • Yes, When I just got in yesterday on United airlines from DEN-SAT the pilots did not retract the spoilers until at the gate and the aircraft doors were opened.
