A. Obama did not favor a Lehman Bros Bailout.
B. Unless you make over $250K he will not raise your taxes. If you don't believe me on that...check the CNN tax comparison tables right here on youtube or go to his web site.
C. FYI- Part of McCains health plan is to TAX your health care benefits.

Speaking of bail outs: Did you know that Bear Sterns got in trouble because they held a lot of bad paper from Carlyle Group. Mismanagement at Carlyle (a company owned and managed in part by Bush 1) caused the Bear bail out.
It's Ironic that the Republican deregulation of the banking industry in 2004 resulted in NATIOANALIZATION of the mortgage banking industry.

kama- Actually, Obama's economic plan is a cross between FDR and Reagan. Obama is a for Free Market Capitalism with regulation as needed..Looks like regulation was needed with this mortgage banking mess. Say, you seem good at name-calling but have done nothing to support your claims against Obama and nothing to justify the record of McCain. Why is that?

Did the crowd during his acceptance speech really applaud the fact that he wants a health care plan that includes the insurance companies? Are there really people out there in society, other than ins. co shareholders and employees, who are clamoring to inovlve insurance companies in health care management. Do these people even know what they are applauding or does that matter? Could anyone be crass enough to defend insurance companies and all the "good" they have done? Totally full of shit.

With America facing historic debt, multiple war fronts, stumbling health care, a weakened dollar, all-time high prison population, skyrocketing Federal spending, mortgage crises, bank foreclosures, etc., this is an unusually critical election year. McCain doesn't have a plan, he doesn't have moral high ground, and he doesn't have an accurate moral compass. At the very least - Obama has a plan, but MORE importantly Obama has vision, hope, and is willing to challenge the USA to be better.
