This commercial came out during the SARS outbreak. The WHO placed a ban on the city, telling tourists not to come to Toronto due to SARS. This came out of desperation from the tourism industry. It took several years just to recover the revenue that was lost

Is this one of those commercials that are ONLY released in the Greater Toronto Area, to get people to spend money at home rather than travel... or is it actually played in major US networks or networks in Quebec?
I know the REALLY good Ontario tourism ads were only released in Ontario to get Ontarians to travel within the province.

same here. The song was also released as an mp3 as well. I once have it but it's now "memories"...:(
There's also a chinese variant of that commercial, if my memory serves me right.
