@1955thekeeper That would be Paul Anton and his 1946 Ercoupe tail number NC2273H at the Arlington airshow (Washington State) in 2004. He's now in Arizona with a Tri-Pacer, but is still known to many as an Ercoupe guru. That plane is now flying on the E. Coast (Florida I believe).
What a wonderful video, a great little plane, and a great music track. This is now one of my U-tube "favorites." The PNW has some of the most majestic and awe-inspiring scenery. The land-water contrast with the surrounding mountains is as majestic as Alaska at times. Thanks for bringing back memories of where I got my PPL back in '78 while I was a 130 Nav in the AF. It'll always be "home" for me.
I asked the folks at our local high school with the Jr ROTC last year to acknowledge Scotty and his wife at the pass and review ceremony... The entire audience gave him a standing applause including at least one Navy Admiral. A very deserving show of respect to him and the great men like him.
Do me a favor and do a youtube search for "We Remember" by Dwayne O'Brien (posted by hawk hero). This will bring tears to your eyes and is a fitting tribute to men like Scotty.
Andy, We have a very distinguished P51 pilot in our American Legion Post. Gerald Scott, a total gentleman. I just taked to him a week ago. He is 86 heading for 87 years young this year. He flew 70 combat missions over France and Germany. "Scotty" was flying before, during and after the D Day invasion. His plane was named "Lady Patricia" his wife Pat is still his wife today.. They are a real treasure. He told me he flew every model of the P51 and finished his career as an instructor.
A particularly cool video and the track is Great! I am a big fan of Little Texas and this song, written for and probably by a pilot, is just the right combination...That Coupe is looking very nice...and all the rest of them as well...What a treat to see this. The sceenery is spectacular. It has special meaning for me. Thanks for passing it along to us all. It is in my special favorite catagory right now..
Thanks Lynn! For all those that don't know, I painted this little airplane in Lynn's garage. I pulled the wings and used a flatbed towtruck to move her from the airport to his house. This little plane going down the freeway without wings made quite the spectacle. Thanks again Lynn!
Wow that is an old panel! Has both of the storage doors. I we had one coupe with both doors. N9989H ?
The other 2 had more updated panels. Nice pics!

Does anyone know the man's name at 1:20 sitting under the wing of the Coupe?
