Where is the Hate speech, when we say we were the first Christian Nation, pray tell? Actually, I was just here to compare Armenian dances to Georgian ones, to see if there is any overlap, it's apparent that Georgians have taken a lot of our dance moves, while incorporating Russian music. That's normal, since there are a lot more Georgian with Armenian blood (marrying an Armenian is a prize for many Georgians) than there are Armenians with Georgian blood.
georgian dances are by far the ones i like the most. Each movement of a dancer is a work of art, you can frame it. You have excellent music and polyphonic songs. Georgia is an extraordinary country. Your wonderful video is just too short:-)

There are very old maps showing the old caucasia. they show lazistan, armenia and georgia as neighbors in caucasia. Because of having been neighbors I believe some dance styles must have been shared but georgians dance is definetely the one that is much faster and has more figures also the most difficult figures like dancing on the toes :)

Absolutely fantastic dancing. I saw Sukhishvili perform at the Auditorium Theater in Chicago in September. This video only gives you a taste of it. They got a standing ovation at the end of the evening. The lightning fast men's dancing and dueling with swords was stupendous -- sparks were literally flying when blades hit blades and they moved so fast it is amazing no one got injured doing it. They're incredible. Hope they revisit the US in '08.

Armenia is and will always be the first nation to adopt Christianity. Armenia is the defender of Christianity not just for Georgia, but the world. If Armenia had turned muslim, Georgia would have gone through the Genocides that Armenia went through, so Georgia should be thankful that Armenia took the brunt of muslim violence and still stands stronger than Georgia.

I think there is a historical deficiency here, the Democratic Republic of Armenia was indeed independent between 1918--1920. Your statement (IN CAPS, SO THAT'S EMBARRASSING) was wrong and you lost all credibility. I recommend a review on Wikipedia or an actual Encyclopedia.

Where is the Hate speech, when we say we were the first Christian Nation, pray tell? Actually, I was just here to compare Armenian dances to Georgian ones, to see if there is any overlap, it's apparent that Georgians have taken a lot of our dance moves, while incorporating Russian music. That's normal, since there are a lot more Georgian with Armenian blood (marrying an Armenian is a prize for many Georgians) than there are Armenians with Georgian blood.

georgian dances are by far the ones i like the most. Each movement of a dancer is a work of art, you can frame it. You have excellent music and polyphonic songs. Georgia is an extraordinary country. Your wonderful video is just too short:-)

@guroqartveli hello:) I am in love with georgian dance. My grandma is georgian. Having said that now I will come to the Armenian dance issue : I researched. There are very old maps showing the old caucasia. they show lazistan, armenia and georgia as neighbors in caucasia. Because of having been neighbors I believe some dance styles must have been shared but georgians dance is definetely the one that is much faster and has more figures also the most difficult figures like dancing on the toes :)

Absolutely fantastic dancing. I saw Sukhishvili perform at the Auditorium Theater in Chicago in September. This video only gives you a taste of it. They got a standing ovation at the end of the evening. The lightning fast men's dancing and dueling with swords was stupendous -- sparks were literally flying when blades hit blades and they moved so fast it is amazing no one got injured doing it. They're incredible. Hope they revisit the US in '08.
