  • Dystopia Now!

  • Thanks for the link Ella. Hedges really nails it. Again:)

  • Well said Ella! The veracity of your analysis is well supported by the shallow, illiterate, reactionary comments littering this comment section. Not only do these fools fail to understand the history of their own country but I bet very few of them could actually define socialism, never mind understanding its influence in safeguarding the working man. Puppets.

  • I guess Crimble messed with the wrong one this time!! LOL

  • HAHAHAHAHA LADY YOU HAD ME AS OF: "..........NOBODY GIVES A SHIT ABOUT POLITICAL DISCOURSE....."

    YOU ROCK!!

  • Ella....Thank God for voices like yours...I agree with everything you said except that revolution is impossible in the US...When the crap hits the fan even the black-shirted goons are going to run for the hills...Hell, there are whole neighborhoods already taken over by gangs where cops don't dare venture...Anarchy is just below the surface, as soon as the few jobs that are left are dried up everything is going to collapse and it's every man for himself...Revolution maybe not, anarchy hell yeah!

  • You are so right Ella. Many seem to have revolutionary dystopia and are arrogant to boot.

  • Don't listen to people from Europe, that's where all this SHIT comes from in the first place, Marxism, post modernism, and all this other SHIT that has been used to destroy this country! Socialism IS what is destroying America you moron. Freedom is a person keeping what THEY EARN. I don't owe anyone any fucking thing!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Crimble67 Oh, sure, crimble...have you ever thought about the fact that the 'founding' fathers of this country actually ALSO had European anchestors? Yeah, sure, so lets keep trashing Europeans in general, shall we? Hey, the Europeans ain't perfect...as exemplified by their many wars, but neither are Americans. The entire idea of Capitalism has European roots, in case you forgot. Oh, and I bet, you also believe in the Austrian School of Ecomonics, ala Mises. Oops. F*cking hilarious !

  • @Crimble67 You don't owe anyone a fucking thing? Yeah you do, take a gun, put it in your mouth, and pull the fucking trigger. You owe yourself that, BITCH.

  • Socialism has never given US anything in the way of rights or anything else for that matter. Our Constitution and Bill of Rights spell out RIGHTS in this country. Social Security was FORCED on US during the 30s and now 70 years later everyone is ADDICTED to the government teet, so now such programs are viewed as "rights".

  • @Crimble67 Look, if you want to argue your point, that Social Security was FORCED on you or anyone else, then please make your own goddamm videos about it, instead of hiding behind your channel, with no uploads of your own. Keep making the billionaire talking points...go ahead. Without Social Security millions + millions of the elderly + disabled would be left to die. You can't save for 'retirement' on $ 9.00 per hour ! Yet, you listen to the billionaires on Wall St, who crashed the economy.

  • @Crimble67 Now look, crimble, if you want to spout ideology, that's one thing, but if you actually look the facts, that's another. Social Security was set up because the excesses on Wall St caused a collapse in the late 1920's. Too much greed + corruption at the top. You can keep investing in Wall St + stocks...but if these blow up, then you will be left with NOTHING. FDR wasn't some commie bastard. He actually preserved capitalism, by curtailing its worst excesses, namely GREED.

  • >>> there would have been a bloody revolution in this country, had FDR NOT done so. Look, Social Security was never meant to be some investment vehicle or 'retirement plan'. It is simply a very basis safety net, without which many working people, having worked all their lives, would be left in the dust. The program is and always has been well-funded, by taxing the working people and their employers. Only these funds were borrowed against by the General Fund, and now the IOU's are coming due

  • >>> so it should not come as no surprise, that the financial oligarchy, after spending trillions of dollars on warfare, and wars based on lies, I might add, and who have borrowed from those funds, are now unwilling to pay up. Start digging a bit deeper, ok? I know, I won't be able to convince you, since you think I'm a moron. Basically, we're all morons, because we let the elites divide and conquer us. In the end, humans will need to cooperate in order to survive, with or without govt.

  • @Crimble67 God you're ignorant DIPSHIT. You don't even know what socialism is. Here is what socialism brought America: 40 hour work week, child labor laws, public education, modern concept of police and firefighters, public libraries, public parks, workplace safety laws, the right for workers to unionize, civil rights for minorities. Awful commie ideas, I know. DUMB FUCK. Unless you're making more than 500k a year, you should be on your knees thanking socialists for the better life you have.

  • @rightwingnutcake Leck mich am Arsch du Drecksau!

  • @Crimble67 that's the best you can do? lick my ass in german? DUMB FUCK. At least try to cobble together two sentences to defend your total and complete ignorance about what socialism really is. Fucking people like you are going to be used as firewood when the US government really starts cracking down, and you know what? You'll fucking deserve it .

  • @rightwingnutcake Jawohl Herr Oberst!

  • @Crimble67 Socialism = state ownership of the means of production and distribution. We do not have that we have the opposite - control of the state by corporations.

  • You're right, the revolution isn't coming, they've won. They don't control everything, just enough.

I successfully ignored politics for about a year, and I am going to start ignore it again. I'm not going to leave or undermine anything, I'm going to ignore it, politics is a waste of time. Let the right-wingers destroy it. People in this country aren't going to wake up until they suffer much worse. I don't trust the American people to know their best interests anymore.

  • lol...not alex jones

Big talk is what most amerikans engage in. They love to mentally masturbate about "the illuminati" and "revolution." This serves the purpose of titillation (most just can't get enough, as seen by the ever escalating violence in porn, etc) but also the big talk makes them feel macho while their big plans are simultaneously impossible.Meanwhile, the possible can be ignored (e.g. not buying yet another iphone, joining an activist group, etc.).The possible is just SO boring.

  • IMHO commen sense is not commen anymore, many dupes are being led for the profits of their 'leader(s)' both monetary, and rightwing brainwashed into their BS philosophy. IE: the right wing consitutionalists, and the teabaggers. They have many follows on social support, while the 'leaders' preach down with it? They are looney.....

  • you make a good point... Revolution won't be easy... I think we need a revolution of the minds first. But, I think a collapse must happen for it to take hold.

  • Great rant and nice ending. Hang in there, Ella. I felt exactly like you did - especially 2 years ago. Believe it or not, some people have listened to my rants and later said: You were right. It will be interesting to see what happens with Wikileaks. The info they haven't released yet might tip the balance. Doing what I can from outside!

  • i am already seeing the villification and ridiculing of bloggers and vloggers, even veteran YT'ers now ridiculing those that they once supported. excellent video Ella, a fave and featuring.

  • @cv1122 Thanks, cv. This is why it is so absolutely crucial for ordinary folks to understand that the elites are trying to divide us. It is an extremely effective game, this divide + conquer meme, and the worst thing, imho, is to fall into this trap. I'm not against the working people in China or India to improve their living standards in urban centers, by STRIVING for something better, but in the end, they too will be gobbled up in this global scheme which raises hopes + then ends up nowhere

  • @zlotyz Revolution HAS worked in our history but revolution doesn't have to be done violently either. It will have to be done an esoteric, clandestine way

  • I agree with zlotyz, "non participation with banks and as little as possible cooperation with the ruling class"/corporations.

For every dollar you remove from the bank it removes nine dollars the Federal reserve can create out of nothing? By removing our money from banks we choose to not participate in the banking schemes.

Corp. or purchasing imports, just stop, check tags, find made in America, keep our jobs here, pressure local/state gov to give tax breaks to companies that don't outsource.

  • @700eyesonly007 I also think that 48 to 58 million (two articles, one stated 48mil the other 58mil) people believe they are powerless, that's how many people are recieving Social Security, 1 in 6. It's harder to object (imo) when you draw your check from the Federal Treasury to survive every month.

Thank you ella, have a Great Day!

  • What we need is a non-violent revolution. The name of the country doesn't have to change... just who runs it and how. Acts of violence won't help create this change... unfortunately, we as a movement will suffer acts of violence upon us if we do engage in non-violent revolution.

But the sooner we change things, and the more of us stand together, the more we mitigate that suffering. The further we slide into fascism before we act, the more of us they can make disappear.

  • @Capitalocracy agree with you that non violent revolution/total withdrawal of support is what's needed...but...agree with ella that it will never happen. like she said, people won't even participate in an organized protest against the TSA. At one time I was optimistic but that hope is dwindling.

  • @Capitalocracy True, but you need to consider the complicity of the main stream media, in such an endeavor. Peaceful protesters are NOT being shown on tv - and if so, they are labelled as a bunch of nutcases. Non-violent, civil disobedience is not receiving the kind of coverage as in the late 1960's or 1970's. Those days gone + only viewable on the internet, which is precisely why the internet must be brought under corporate control as well.

  • The reason why I have no interest in the wikileaks issue is because I don't fully understand it but I know its not a black and white issue but a complicated gray and gray issue.

  • Huxley was actually writing about america. in brave new world.

  • @doctorman1000 Precisely! So I guess, you missed the message entirely, somehow.

  • Ella, well said! I had hope that some of the citizens of the US would rise up and voice their dissent and act on that dissent. The analysis that you have posited is more than the truth. We need revolution but it cannot happen because of the MainStreamMedia's collusion with the elitist oligarchy. The medias' purchase by the corporations was a masterful blow to the progressive movement. No longer can the people join together and make a change in the system. We are already laughed at and vilified.

  • There has never been a successful, authentic revolution. Only controlled restructurings.

The capstone can sink pylons far faster than we can gnaw them away.

Politically, we could go after the capstone if we find someone willing to run for assassination. (If one ant stands up, they all might stand up)

If you are not for the truth, you are an accomplice of tyranny, and if you are, a terrorist.

The lie is supersaturated, and all will have to choose once it crystallizes.

  • I think a few distinctions need to be made. Hedges defines 'Revolution' as the overthrow of a decaying structure in order to replace it with something better, this is different from 'Rebellion' which, correct me if I'm wrong, he defines as perpetual resistance against injustice in all it's manifestations. And I think it's important to put violence in it's proper context, and by that I mean differentiating between violence which targets human beings and violence which targets property.

  • @bulldogger Hedges is correct in calling for perpetual resistance against injustice, and he's not calling for violent revolution - he's witnessed a number of them first hand. I identify with Hedges's sense of ethics (not because he clings to those instilled by his religious studies), but because, he essentially rejected these dogmatic teachings, after witnessing some very non-scholarly reality in various war-zones, where violence against humans becomes the norm.

  • @55ella2007k Like I said, distinctions regarding violence need to be made. But as far as Hedges being 100% against violence, that's not true. I've heard him state quite clearly in interviews there comes a point when there's no option left but to fight back. Personally I think violence directed against human beings is a last resort, but consider how utterly corrupted and repressive the current system is I'm not about to stand in a crowd and let a cop beat me.

  • @bulldogger I stand corrected. Yes, Hedges has stated this.

  • @TheElMoIsEviL Are you a Mutualist?

  • the US has been inhabited by every foul evil spirit, come out of her my people

  • aldous huxley was by far the most accurate in his prophecy, that i have read.

i think of his story more and more often the deeper this country gets.

  • @onlywhenprovoked yes, I agree. Actually, there is no need for overt oppression anymore, because oppression has basically gone mainstream, and most citizens actually applaud it, because they have been brainwashed into thinking that it's all GOOD for them and in their own best interest. This will only work for so long, of course.. but it's working quite well, so far :(

  • Things are only 50 times better off here in Canada. I don't know why you people aren't leaving, a month ago I changed advice to people to "abandon ship".

  • @AlphaHorizon It's just too damn cold there!

  • I made a video a while back saying about the same thing you've said. Although I did point out that a revolution would cost a lot of money and organization, something the populous now has far too little of. So if a out and out revolution were to start in this country it would be funded and organized by an outside country.

  • Your last point is good! At least we can peace with the thought that we never lived in a Zulu fantasy world

  • You aren't going to like this but I'm with the make peace with yourself Camp. I made a video over the Holidays asking people Have they heard of Julian Asange, not one person I interviewed knew who Julian Assange was.

they also have the deer in the headlight look. They have no clue what is coming. They are the Sheep being trucked to the Slaughterhouse.

Sure when Austerity comes they will get angry but the Goverment will squash their anger post haste.

    watch?v=-BRenD3tjb4

  • @valhala56 I did the same thing with my family and not one knew who he was and what he has done for our country and countries around the world. It's like they don't watch the news at all or read anything, just isolate themselves in what little is going on in their life, in a little box that is full of video games, sitcoms and religious fever. I didn't even bother to tell them about him. They would have just lost interest too fast and not thought anymore about it. Subject was changed.

  • @Boomer1949 It's pretty amazing. They are like Cattle on the truck in route to the Slaughterhouse. They have no idea what is coming.

  • @valhala56 No, sadly they don't. It's repulsive in some way..but on the other hand, I cannot fully place the blame on them. Years of entertainment, infotainment and all the rest have taken their toll, precisely as planned. We can sit on our perches and ridicule them, but it will do no good. We're all going down together, and whether some of us saw it coming, will make no difference in the end.

  • @I think that is what the Oliogharchs are banking on. Ignornance. Just today my son told me his poverty stricken brother was mad at him over a small amount of money. I said he is mad at the wrong people. That is what the Elites are counting on Brother turning on Brother with misplaced anger.

All these stories are going to make excellant tv miniseries one day in the far future if there is a future and if that future has the capability to have tv.

    Oh Well........

  • @Boomer1949 Assange is not an angel.

  • @doctorman1000 Certainly no one is an angel but he's in the news...you would think more people would know who he was and what the back story is.

  • @valhala56 Yes, I saw your video. I can't really fault those people in the vid, for not having a clue. It's 24/7 propaganda...and most people in America care more about what happens on some reality show or the latest celebrity news, because that's all they get, mostly. I can't really blame them, because their everyday lives are too busy, too look beyond. I don't have children to care for, nor immediate family anymore, so I have much more TIME than other people to look deeper :(

  • Great commentary Ella and i 100% concur with you.

History is replete with civilizations making the same mistakes over and over and in the end they all Imploded on their own weight and tiranny. As for me am down to minimal confort ( necesseties of life ) and am doing what i can to starve the beast in the frame of law .Cheers to you and a happy new year.

  • I would DIE for my beliefs, however, most who scream revolution would give up at the first sign of trouble, pain or discomfort. We are a spoiled, fat, ignorant species that destroy everything we touch. Where was this revolution when Bush and company were causing this MESS???? Where was it at when the Patriot Act was installed virtually destroying our civil liberties?? I just dont understand people, yeah,I do...they are simply ignorant, brainwashed slugs! Tea Party...dont even get me started on that.

  • @Methadone4Life revolutions don't need people like you.

  • @doctorman1000 If you want to present your 'revolutionary credentials' to anybody on here, go ahead. When was the first time you ever stood up for somebody, who was NOT favored by a larger crowd? Methadone4Life has done this more than once, when it was not at ALL fashionable to do so. And if you think that the tea party crowd is revolution of some kind, all you have to do is ask yourself, why the cops didn't arrest any of them. Some kind of revolution, heh? Pretty silly, if you ask me.

  • @Methadone4Life Exactly. Look, Hugh, the Dems aren't what they used to be...the meme has changed. We are on our fucking own. Forget about the parties...they are bought off. The only thing which should concern us are the ISSUES we care about, which includes throwing a major wrench into the machinations of the global corporate elite. Every other subject becomes secondary to this, just another piece of cake, offered to the masses. We must start to focus on the underlying problems.

  • @Methadone4Life I will be replying to doctorman1000 below...shortly :)

  • Freeman on the Land IS the answer

    Great Vid Ella

  • Totally agree that the Tea Party movement is a fucking joke.

  • Great vid. True enough. I've been thinkin' 'bout this too. They are still paying a big enough number of middle-class, but when it hits a certain point, then it's hell to pay when they start going homeless and hungry. Otherwise they will shoot their mouths off for their bosses. When our people lose enough the time will come. However, the best way to start is passive agressive like in our history. Marches, sit-downs...ect; I honor Whistle-blowers and I think we should demand a holiday for those.

  • @Licmycat Of course I've always heard necessity is the mother of inventions and that can get little people's brains a clickin'! Can't wait. I'm seeing enough weird stuff to be totally in awe and expectations....have a great nite girl. Keep ye chin up!

  • Agreed, western society is like Rome, just bigger.

  • This is the truth!

  • Ella, the one idea that allows me to maintain my sanity, is a concept of human evolution. As humans, we have to go through the breaking out of our enslavement to reach the next level of our evolution. This has probably happened hundreds of times on this planet, and so far, humans have not been able to evolve past this point we are at right now. Our greatest success is only as good as our greatest failure. We have to experience this resistance to our freedom.

    Know...That you are not alone.

  • Your so right Ella, nobody wants to hear the truth, I've tried to talk to family and friends

and they think I'm a nutcase. Anyway I wonder what would happen if the ss checks just stopped considering all the baby boomers, along with welfare checks, do you think that would get their attention?

  • ..%5 to 10% of determined people is more than what's needed to make the change..the rest follows..in the US and around the world..

  • If it helps, I don't think you're a nutter.

  • I think we're all guilty of trusting the Garbage Media to give us an accurate perception of America. How much can we trust polls and the false representation (in idiot interviews and the Tea Party only grew when fox viewers joined) of America thru our controlled media?

  • :: Happiness : freedom to consume ::

  • Finally the good bitchslapping videos come.

    Epic Pwnage!

  • @shazzbot007

I live it for the real kid.

O the internet.. Mostly all take never any action.

  • I am on many lists, Religion, Science, Government, Corporations, GooTube users.

See people dont like to find out that there true leader, there true gods, is the TV screen, and the green back.

Yea I am a nut case. But I have already been in the mental hospitals twice, they keep on letting me out.

So who is more crazy, the wannabe internet users, or what is real?

55ella2007k no matter what happens. We already won a long time ago, many people know it, just dont want to admit it.

  • lots of excellent points. i know what you mean, it seems like the lunatics have taken over the asylum. the empire will self destruct tho, all the classic signs are there. the over stretched empire. militarism is this obsessive drug that americans in power can't get enough of. chalmers johnson in his last book said that "brain rot" is in the last stages of imperialism. this nonsense can be funny too, the c.i.a. just started a "wikileaks task force", or also known as the acronym "wtf".

  • Thank you for this video!!!!

  • Revolution has a problem. The new boss is basically the same as the old boss. The evil reconfigures and replays. Revolution means repeats over and over. The real need is evolution. To evolve, to ascend, to abandon it all and start fresh. External physical force ? No way. It has to start in the mind and spread thought to thought and person to person. We're the spark to start it !

  • I encourage YOU to encourage others to watch 'Reds' in its entirety. A better introduction to the history of the progressive and socialist movements is therein. Great movie, too!

  • Comment removed

  • There is nothing more to do or say. We just have to witness what's going down, if we can bear it. I'm having a hard time building up my inner guard as you say. I've been doing that for quite awhile. Even in my own family, are but a microcosm of the government. At first I thought I was insane for thinking it but not, Ella, The little ones are following the big ones. It's a wasteland "out" there

  • I understand your point on this video but I'm going to disagree on this one. I think you might be under estimating your fellow countrymen. Tyranny always seems insurmountable when you are in it. Also the US is not the world. There are may societies and great thinkers around the world who are already standing up to injustices.

  • They Took Our Jobs!!!

    /watch?v=JDnkb9rSmQQ

  • ¥T

  • revolution will come when people are not afraid to die for the cause.. it is the fear of dying or prison that keeps them in line.. this is contrary to the fact that they don't mind the military invading other countries and killing those lesser people now does it?.. bastards. soon we will all be in a prison of control.

good cathartic rant ella.. i am with you..

  • Don't worry, Walmart will now be taking part working along side homeland security to keep us safe...

Of course no one will complain about that either.

  • Ella, I've been talking about feudalism ever since Ron Paul hit the "peace movement" scene in 2005, he just was concerned about saving tax money (and then discontinuing taxes), human lives seems a distant third to him. I love your coined term "Neo-Feudalism", that fits USA to a T... unfortunately I don't "love" that part though.
