  • the dancing makes me laugh my head off XD XD XD XD but i do like the song very much

  • Released October 12, 1934. Filmed that summer, I believe.

  • Betty was born in December 1916 so would have been nearly 18 when this was made.

  • @gulffan Yes, she was 17 when this was shot.

  • Betty became an A-list star. E E Horton ended up doing "Fractured Fairy Tales" on "Rocky and Bullwinkle". Who will be the most remembered? Hopefully, both of them.

  • I was looking above the knees.

  • The perfect couple. If they decide to get physical, they can always have a fall back.

  • I love the choreography, and the song is so funny. Also, Betty Grable is beautiful.

  • Great number, if not for the principals. Betty Grable before she was a star and E.E Horton in a musical number that stretches his talents. This is a lot of fun, and shows how versatile Horton was, and how good Grable could be.

  • that pantsuit is to die for, but what a fag hag, jeez.

  • Betty Grable. Is. SOOOO. Damn. CUTE in this ((((:::

  • Why the perky, sexy, teenaged Betty Grable would have the slightest interest in the older, flabbier, and not even heterosexual Edward Everett Horton does not compute.

  • @hebneh but to me that's what makes it hilarious and cute!

  • @hebneh he is an alumnus of Polytech Brooklyn AND articulate!

  • @hebneh You're right on the mark. She was merely the dance number ingenue in this movie. Top billing went to the other actors. Betty Grable was 14-15 when she did this movie? It was only the beginning for her. Betty prospered and was remembered and sadly Edward Everett Horton was not.

  • i like the girl wearing the hockey gear on her knees...that's definately the sane??... way to go.

  • Strange but nice. I like the song.

  • 17-year-old Betty Grable was so cute! But the song is awful. It's so twee, it sounds like an intentional parody of bad songwriting.

And notice Edward Everett Horton is wearing sandals with socks!

  • @scotpens Anyone who says sandals with socks is wrong is a coward, a sheep, unable to think for themselves and a big weenie!!!!

  • @scotpens Thanks for pointing out the sandals with socks. Another reason why I love this number.
