Without an external power source a mass will only move due to momentum or to reach a lower energy state. For a cyclic system, reaching continually lower energy states is impossible because each revolution goes through exactly the same energy states as the previous one.

That's why we can't make a roller-coaster that runs forever. Only a frictionless system could run forever, but that could never do any work because work would slow it down.

CoP is Coefficient of Performance - Work or energy in divided by work or energy out. Commonly used term in refrigerators and aircon. Work in for magnet motors is zero. 5% in a more practical device is better.

maybe, but could i offer something to you that could be of interest....

dc motor generator, generates energy into a capacitor at a cost of drag so no free lunch.

but if i run one of the leads from the generator through a transformer the drag decreases and you get High Frequency High Voltage out of the secondary that you rectify to charge the capcitor. almost no eddy currents

i must add that you must pulse the circuit also. it make it pickup collected spikes.

ty for the input. You are certainly on the right track. Murray does almost exactly what you are saying. He doesn't need the capacitor because he does it mechanically. The 'mechanism' IS the 'tip of the iceberg' invention.
