I mean seriously, people just talk. why don't they ask other fellow Somalis to join them? why don't they have songs to encourage other Somalis to fellow their foot steps? There are a lot of other natinal parties out there (Europe, America, Africa) why don't they unite them? Come ON Somali people. The impertinent youth in the diaspora are victims of their elders, they've been poisoned with clan hatred when they haven't been to Somalia most of their lifes - if at all. Can you imagine any other ethnicity in this day in age that still dwells in such primitive concept as clanism? We'd all be laughing at the absurdity. That is how we're viewed by the world today. We're basically the laughing stock of the world. Such is the misfortune of our current circumstance. Petty differences gone too far.
First of all, correct your standard of living. Your heart is sickened and fulled with human opinions. Opinion over another one is just an opinion. Somali's problem is NOT following Islam as was needed but what about yours?
I'd like to extend my gratitude and appreciation for your initiative. It's us, the educated Somalis, who'll build Somalia. It's the lack of education that sustains the current chaos. The chaos effects all of our people, in terms of social, economical, cultural and the like. Education only will alleviate, lack thereof, is the contrivance of the host of problems we face. More often than not, we are led by the uneducated, whereas the knowledgeables amogst us take a back seat. Blame clanism.
