Here is what I don't understand. If a jedi's ability to hear and control the force is based on his or her midiclorian count. How is Vader still this powerful/tough? If midiclorians reside in a Jedi's body then the less body you have the less powerful a Jedi is.

Plus, I was always of the opinion that the midiclorians were the dumbest thing ever to be put in SW (including Binks). There is also a theory that the force connection of the individual makes midiclorians grow in the first place, like a garden with good fertilizer, and thus Vader's loss of power was due to his hardcore depression and not his cyberization per-say.

This was before Anakin was bar-b-qued.

That second theory was something Palpatine thought, and seeing as how there have been so many examples of strong negative emotions throughout SW EU disrupting a force adept's powers, including Kota, it seems like a reasonable theory. It was an EU thing though, probably written by someone who thought that midichlorians undermined the whole point of the force (which they do).

@psfreak7 Well first of all yes killing the emperor would have been the smart thing to do, but he was doing it for the wrong reasons, or rather in the wrong state of mind. Plus if he had done that, then it wouldn't have made sense as far as the movies go. Maybe if he killed the emperor for the alternate ending, but I think it was better the way it was.

You know I played the demo and everthing was awesome exept one small thing, the lightsaber beams were much to thin. They were like fencing metals insead of claymore thick, okay maybe a claymore is a bit to thick near the base but about a quarter way up thats about right. The other day I thought "When is George Lucas gonna make more Star Wars films?" Instead of making all the old ones that everybodys seen a thousand times in 3D make some new ones. Either about Boba Fett becoming a bounty hunter or Vader's apprentice throwing him through a couple walls. People want to explore more about certain characters, events, and plots that would be better explored by film. A way to start with the FORCE UNLEASHED plot to show how the rebellion was made. @davidanthonyromero Problem is, movies are kind of a waste on something so expansive like this. Because we'll only get a good 2-3 hours of content and rushed storylines and bad acting, etc... With a video game, or a cartoon television series, we can learn a LOT more about everything because things aren't tied down to a strict.. 2-3 hours where action, story, acting, all has to come together to make it good. Video games can provide up to 20 hrs of story telling, which game > movie

After playing demo I can say that TFU2 will be better than first game. Especially fighting mechanics are better, fighting is more fluent and you feel like you are wielding lightsabers and not some heavy hammers or sth.

@SWGuruu What I "deem to be acceptable" is a story that makes sense. Whats sad is it did make sense, right up until Marek said "you never planned to destroy the Emperor", and Vader replied "not with you, no", which means that Vader did in fact spend all that time crafting Marek for no reason except to capture 3 senators who the Emperor could have just had killed at any time. There are differences between plotholes and plotholes that go to the core of a story. This plothole is one of the latter.

You know I played the demo and everthing was awesome exept one small thing, the lightsaber beams were much to thin. They were like fencing metals insead of claymore thick, okay maybe a claymore is a bit to thick near the base but about a quarter way up thats about right. Besides all of that the game looks flawless but to me that one thing is something that must be fixed in the thrid game, assuming they make one, lets hope they do.

The other day I thought "When is George Lucas gonna make more Star Wars films?" Instead of making all the old ones that everybodys seen a thousand times in 3D make some new ones. Either about Boba Fett becoming a bounty hunter or Vader's apprentice throwing him through a couple walls. People want to explore more about certain characters, events, and plots that would be better explored by film. A way to start with the FORCE UNLEASHED plot to show how the rebellion was made. @davidanthonyromero Problem is, movies are kind of a waste on something so expansive like this. Because we'll only get a good 2-3 hours of content and rushed storylines and bad acting, etc... With a video game, or a cartoon television series, we can learn a LOT more about everything because things aren't tied down to a strict.. 2-3 hours where action, story, acting, all has to come together to make it good. Video games can provide up to 20 hrs of story telling, which game > movie

@davidanthonyromero plus, there are already BOOKS on how boba becomes a bounty hunter, the 3D series out now has moments with boba and what not. the material is there, just not looked at all the time. it's just funny, i've said the exact same thing, i want another movie, but when you think about it logically... there's really no point, there are other, less expensive and better prepared methods to use than making a movie.

After playing demo I can say that TFU2 will be better than first game. Especially fighting mechanics are better, fighting is more fluent and you feel like you are wielding lightsabers and not some heavy hammers or sth.

@SWGuruu So Vader spent 20ish years of his time creating a powerful apprentice for no other reason than to get three senators together to plan a rebellion when the Emperor could have just had them arrested at any time anyway... and then the apprentice overpowers both sith lords... somehow... rendering what Luke did moot, and then decides not to kill them because the plot requires him to. And those are just the most obvious plot holes, the story is full of them.

I enjoyed the story, of course it has plot holes. The original 3 movies had plot holes, so did the last 3. Cartoons have em, books, etc... Who's to say he spent his entire time doing so? If anything, blame Lucas for letting these people create this game in between episodes 3 & 4, where we ALL KNOW, that plot is going to either require Galen to die (again) and Vader to live and him to either try it again or say fuck it and just get Luke by this time.

@SWGuruu What I "deem to be acceptable" is a story that makes sense. Whats sad is it did make sense, right up until Marek said "you never planned to destroy the Emperor", and Vader replied "not with you, no", which means that Vader did in fact spend all that time crafting Marek for no reason except to capture 3 senators who the Emperor could have just had killed at any time. There are differences between plotholes and plotholes that go to the core of a story. This plothole is one of the latter.
