i wish i could get sponsored to go practise in the nets with pros, ive only got 2 good bowlers in my team that bowl around 130kph, all the rest are shit,
@gunot5827 ima get some vids of me in the nets soon. I know its hard to believe, but ive been clocked. Usually i dont bowl total pace, i look for line and length, but as i only live in a small town of about 25k people my coach doesnt really.. know how to coach so.. ive been teaching myself how to bowl my whole life, apart from my dad who was coached by Jeff Thompson in a final game for kedron high school.
@hawty0boy ok cool man im certainly not doubting you I just find it hard to believe. I also am pace bowler and im 18. Thats pretty cool how your dad got coached by thommo i real like him. Thats annoying when you get bad coaches, its real annoying here in NZ as they all want you to bowl line and length medium pace crap when I would rather just bowl quick.
That would be good if you could show a vid cos its good looking at other bowlers and seeing what they do and learning off them

Yeh, Most of the time i try and bowl line and length rather then extreme pace.
Yeh my dad woulc have played for Qld, but he wanted to be a psychologist, :S
ill definately get some footage some time. maybe in a few weeks cause im flat out working at woolies :P
