smoothness is tough to teach, it pretty much comes 2 u after a while. try makin the frames flow really good into eachother, smoothness basically comes out of good easing, physics, movement, etc.

like moving the guys around the environment? u just have to follow something with the camera (screen), like when the guy gets dragged by like the building thing, and the other. the guy that ur not following is actually kind of used to show what speed the moving guy is going at, just by the speed that u move him offscreen. this mite answer ur question

lol im definitely not the BEST animator, but thanz for the support. to answer ur question, i just make it smooth by really takin a lot of time to animate. i practice some stuff like walking and running, punches, etc. but i'd say that just watchin tutorials at like droidz or DD really helps the most
