UC Berkeley Protest - Cops Won't Allow Water

The concept of denying means that all (or nearly all) possibilities are shut off and unusable. By them not allowing you up, or not carrying the water up is not denying them water. It is denying you going up and denying your request to bring that bottle up for them. The option for them to come down as open (if the cops were honest). So if the entire issue truly was about water and health, it was not denial. It was denial if they must be up there (then it's not a pure health issue is it?)
