if u use a headphone spliiter, then the volume is going to sound exactly the same as a single one, splitters have to half the voltage to split to each of the two 'channels'.

At all 1 Logitech z 5500 is not better than 2 logitech z2300 because the z 5500 sub

has 180 watt RMS . the sub of the z2300 has 120 watt RMS but when you have 2 of these you have 240 watt rms ! 60 watt RMS more then the z5500 sub !

@ThE5oCeNtFrEaKi I've taken the grill off, the first set came out perfectly, no damage. The second... I wasn't so lucky. I made marks all over the black rim, and the grill came out all bent. It's just cosmetic damage, no big deal.

@ThE5oCeNtFrEaKi wow, 60 is pretty rough. I used a flat blade screwdriver. I never bothered using a hair dryer cause it can melt the woofer's glue located on the "outer part" of the surround.

@ThE5oCeNtFrEaKi I live in Canada. I think it's very much worth buying 2 sets. Anything above 2 is just plain stupid, I rather buy a better set of speakers for the price of 3 z-2300 speakers. It's possible to make two z-2300 into 4.2 speakers. Attach one of them to the front channel, and another one to the rear plug.

I stacked my subs on top of each other just like the one on the video. I've tried putting my subs in the adjacent corner of the room and it caused a few bass cancellations.
