when you said you didn't want to put words in his mouth thats exactly what you did, and the way you set up your questions and the way they were delivered made the interview biased. It swung his responses, if it was your intention to put him on the defensive and get him to justify himself and what one man's actions are within a grand scheme of war and orders and situations then please state that before hand.

Wow, that seemed really uncomfortable. That made ME feel akward. This interviewer seems to be intentionally asking questions that make this guy feel terrible and look like some kind of monster. The guy behind the camera is a terrible human being who doesn't know the intensity of war or what it's like to be the sniper and what goes through his mind when he is out in the field.

I think that the interviewer is a coward and cruel to make this man sound like he is the bad one. He knows he was killing people with stories, but he shot people who attacked him first.
