Thru the 50's and 60's rock was the popular music, then that funky nasty disco took overin the 70's, hell even KISS was playing disco. Or you had punk glam English rock. That's part of what made VH so special, they showed up and kick started rock again, at least here in the states. Sabbath admits VH blew them off the stage every night on that first tour.
