  • An amazing driver!! I own a 2006 ltd and took it everywhere from deserts to mountains! But didn't realize that it has this capabilities!!

  • the 3.0 litre crd is a mercedes benz engine and gear box in a Jeep ( what a combo) it puts out 510 nm of torque, more than the 5.7

  • Good driver

  • nice driving

  • That's pretty impressive for a stock setup.

  • I love it! I'm not much of an off roader but like the option of 4 wheel drive for bad weather... snow and ice and such. I traded in my gas guzzling F-150 for a new Grand Cherokee and love it! Almost double the fuel economy and much more comfortable. A lot easier to get a around a cramped parking lot too. It's by no means meant to conquer the Rubicon trail... it's meant for on road performance with light duty off road capability.

  • v6 or the 4.7 cause theres just no way the hemi gets better gas milage

  • the only thing i dont like about the new Grand Cherokee is where the key goes into the dash, ive switched off the car with my knee a few times. other than that there ace

  • the 3.0 CRD is the best 4x4 i have ever been in

  • only in a jeep O|||||O

  • I'd like to see what a Range Rover could do on that same test. Its Jeep's only real rival.

  • At the moment Land Rover is far beyond stock Jeeps. The only capable stock Jeep is the Rubicon. All others have far too little ground clearance and stiff suspension meanwhile.

  • It might be able to perform that, but Jeep's part are low in quality, I don't need to defend that statement, I have plenty of examples.

  • /but Jeep's part are low in quality/

At least they dont break down as much as Land Rover.

  • true, but not by much, esp the jeeps with alot of electronics

    excellent video!

feel free to add your video to my new ethnic romanian video sharing site called:

    ROVIDEOS dot COM

  • Well i brought one recently ive had nothing but troubles with it.Ive had stalling issues with the automatic.Dashboard light problems.Air Cond and the last one was the breaks.Breaks failed and slid around a corner and straight side onto a power pole.Airbags deployed thats one thing that worked i suppose.LOL

  • Thats weird because all the problems you just described, I have them too. I just bought a used 2001 4x4 Jeep Grand Cherokee a few months ago. Is it really worth it too keep it that long...??

  • Lets try an Ford Explorer on this :)

  • me and my friends were offroadin one of them over the weekend and totaled it into a tree lol

  • ce drumuri rele avem i iasi, sunt nevoite masinile sa mearga pe birne in oras :))))))

  • you mean 5.7 Hemi not 4.7

  • The new '05+ models still get the 4.7 v8 from the WJ's

  • no he means 4.7, the 5.7 is new for 05'+

  • looked like that was going to flip on the flex show

  • I have one of these babies a 2006 Limited 4x4 4.7L V-8 version w/everything including satellite navigation, but no sunroof. It's fun to drive!!

  • They are bolted but NOT welded on !!

  • Becareful of your 2005 + year Jeep on windy days, if wind catches your doors, the hinges will be sprung and major damage can happen !! ( POOR QUALITY !!! ) I am not talking hurricane winds, just a regular windy day.

This has happened to my Laredo and also my overland !!!

  • haha holy crap, I have a 2002 Dodge Ram and the same thing happened. Even though they are both chryslers, its not quality. I've seen numorous accounts of situations as these, and since the doors of my truck and your suv have a much larger surface area for the wind to act on, more force was applied cause the damage to the hinge (or in my case, the bracket). There is only so much a door can take ;) And duh they aren't welded because the door needs to be adjusted for gaps

  • The fact is, the door was caught before major damage happened on the overland, but the bracket / hinge still sprung. The repair center is the one that explained the welding issue to me, so duh to him !!

I am a chrysler fan to, but with all the previous Jeeps I've owned, kind of strange it has happened to both my redesigned Jeeps.

  • you just said they weren't welded. so duh back at chea. Repair centers are crap anyway, what every they can to get money

  • I want to build one of those in my back yard for me and all my friends

  • HOLY! I never knew my jeep was capable of doing that lol. I got a Limited 2006 4.7 litre hemi v8 grand cherokee.

  • Yeah, Jeep isn't your garden-variety Honda/Lexus/Toyota/Suzuki/[insert-crappy-name-here] SUV

  • The jeep actually didn't handle this very well - little to no flex in the suspension (IFS and IRS i think) - that's why the wheels were in the air. The rocks and mountains in AZ aren't as forgiving as ramps! The driver, however, was very impressive - he did all of that without a spotter.

  • I'm not surprised. The new Grand Cherokee came in 4th out of 5 SUV's in a Motor Trend challenge. Maybe that's not a big deal to a lot of people, but i've owned two Jeeps and that kind of performance is shameful. They're selling more vehicles than before, but sacrificing it's roots in the process. Now, the Jeep badge is no longer synonomous with off road ability, but just another suv.

  • That new GC is horrible. The last two GC were such nice vehicles but this new one, no thanks. Front IRS and hardly any ground clearance anymore. I wonder how they got the trail rated badge on these SUV`s.

  • Your comment is old as hell but I have to ask, what the hell stock vehicle is going to keep all 4 down on something like that? Even a new stock Rubicon with disconnects wouldn't. And it's not IRS it's solid axle out back. I agree the IFS isn't as good as a solid up front (I own a WJ) but that shit was pretty impressive. Give props where it's due man, it handled it wonderfully. And Airox, Front IRS? you're an idiot.

  • That is awesome!!! I'm gonna build one of those in my back yard and try it with my jeep. Thankyou God for blessing us with the jeep!

  • Love this car too! I'm happy I've bought one!

  • Really awesome!

    I LOVE IT!

    AND I LOVE THIS CAR!

  • AMAZING! Still my favorite...!

  • I heart my WK

  • WJ>ZJ>WK

  • Yup! Said everything! I wouldn't trade mine for anything!

  • Awesome. ONLY in a JEEP. Like no other SUV.
