This is pretty crazy! I was on lake chelan labor day weekend 2010 in our 17foot open bow runabout, heading north, a little north of lake chelan state park where it narrows there, and we turned around.... pretty sea worthy boat, deep v and all but the swells looked a lot like this, capping and splashing over the front some.... surprised by this a little for a relatively narrow lake but the wind just funnels through.... great post! thanks guys!
