Steelhead Trout Fishing on the Skykomish

so its summer steelhead and some chinook in the skykomish at this time, im 15 and looking to find a cool spot to catch my first steelhead and heck even a river king salmon. please let me know spots, or how you got there. what to use wether to float or drift fish with led and corkies! thank you so much and love your videos.

Cool i went fishing today for 10 hours wading for pink salmon using buzz bombs,pink spoons,pink squids,and pink jigs but had no luck any tips?also we are heading snohomish river and tips there

I am thinking there should be plenty of fish still in there, biting on all the old standbys. Pink jigs and spoons would be my choice. Unless I found a sexy pink spinner!

they hit pink jigs like crazy in the bay and on the snohomish. I knock them dead every day in 2 of my spots but if u go to normand road on the stilly you can just catch one every cast its a joke!

ur videos are awesome- fun to watch, i only wish there were more!!! you should come up a little farther north- i used to fish in the second narrows on vancouver island, got a lot of salmon there. every day we went out we got our limit. lots of other boats though, there are lots of really good river spots too though, anyways i think youd enjoy it, might get some better luck

I fished right in this spot at 6am this morning. Well no on the bar, but to the left closer to the old bridge support. Ended up dropping my ipod in the river when I leaned over to wash my hands off from some roe. Had to get butt nekid and dive for it at 6 freakin 30 in the am. Wasn't too warm I can tell you that... Didn't catch a fish either.
