Looks like:

A.) The BS exploded over you, due to you going down.

or

B.) It hit the green and missed you by pixels.

Or it could be both. I don't think the stream has anything to do with it, other than making you go down faster.

yep, it was because of the "boost" of the stream, and a mini turbo

here is a reason why because you were at the stream where it gives you a little bosst. little boost + mini turbo equals the speed of a mushroom thus you dodge a blue shell.

its was because u had the mini turbo while going down the waterfall

green shell did nothing

When you get off the water stream into the normal ground when the BS gets above you ready to take you down, you dodge it. Same happens on TF on those conveyors.

Not the green shell. This has happened to me on the exact same spot. There is a spot like that on maple treeway too. And I didnt have a shell or anything behind me and I still dodged it. So its a safe zone or glitch or whatever you want to call it XD
