  • Je pense que les producers de cette series avez oublier la guerre de 1812 quand les Quebecois a des victoires against les Americans. Ils n'avont pas dit if il y a des anglophones killed during the election. Pardon mon francais. Je suis anglo.

  • I love this series I watched it in my socials class. According to my socials teacher most of the cast is students who study the history of the part of the documentary in the area that it happened.

  • You forgot to mention that Canada has the “Indian Problem”. Now is the real “Indian Problem” Canadian are going to face. Canada will be indicted for murdering aboriginal children in the Indian residential schools. Do a google search on “Hidden from History” or “Canada’s hidden holocaust”. Know your country before calling yourself a proud Canadian. I call my self an Indian because I am proud to be an Indian!

  • qui donne une merde sur Québec Canada ou pourquoi nous haïssent les Canadiens anglophones ont tous une .. Québécois qui veulent se séparer n'ont aucune crédibilité c'est comme la natives.learn mohawk de s'entendre tout le monde.

  • Is this from CBC's "Le Canada - Une Histoire Populaire?"

  • Great lakes elevation. All traffic was by water routes. From the perspectives of the river routes upper Canada was beyond the Niagara falls so you had to go up to get there.

  • THANK YOU for the uploads! I truly appreciate you taking your time to share this information with the masses.

  • @Bonde2002

Canada has been discovered by sailors and it's a usual way of naming parts of a region in navigation; the source has to be the higher part of a river. Even today, we still speak this way; every québécois living by the St-Laurent gets his orientation by the flow of the river. For example, people in Montreal say; "On descend à Québec" and people in Québec say; "On monte à Montreal"

  • @Bonde2002 Upper and Lower Canada doesn't refer to their position on the map, but instead their altitude.

  • @Bonde2002 Because you had to travel "up-river" to get to "upper" Canada and "down-river" to get to "lower" Canada.

  • @Bonde2002 the water flows up ward.

  • @Bonde2002 Upper Canada is upriver from Lower Canada.

  • @Bonde2002 Upper Canada is upstream the St. Laurent and Lower Canada is downtstream the St. Laurent

  • @Bonde2002 I honestly don't know.

  • @Patriote17

It has to do with the flow of the St. Lawrence going outward. Hence upstream is south.

  • @Patriote17 because St Lawrence River flows from south-west to north-east, so flows from upper to lower Canada

  • Why is Lower Canada above upper Canada?

  • @rifal004 becose the Canadien (lower Canada) was french therefore not worthy and low

  • Molson family <3

  • @xaxi2007 And I read in a book that the Molson claim to be real "québécois", after seeing this, québécois my ass! lol They must had had numerous "canadiens" as slaves back then and up to not so long

  • thx for upping

  • Great series, production value is fantastic
