  • It might be possible as a workaround to install a midi translater component, like bome.com/products/miditranslator -- then converts midi signals to mouse clicks ... an obscure solution, but still

  • @aday1 I've tried such a method (although I injected the key presses and mouse clicks directly). Yes it's a workaround, but so sluggish and buggy that you'd never want to use it in any serious manner. It's a pain to code too because the interface elements in premiere can be moved so easily.

  • you may download this program?

  • No you may not. Sorry.

  • Could you send it? :)

  • No, it's not in a condition that I could nor wanted to release it. This is a prototype and isn't really working that well.

  • ok ;)

  • is this up for download i really need that

  • I was hoping I could make this software more responsive and usable for most interface features in premiere via using Premiere SDK. Turns out they don't allow plugins to do anything that is not in response to some user interface action. And my software would've been solely used to control the interface itself. If adobe at some future SDK's allows this, I could develop this further, but right now it's just not possible to make this usable.

  • @Phatency Sorry, voted down as a gesture of not liking what i was reading about premiere not allowing plugins in favor of user interface ctls. Thanks a lot for taking the time to posting this, actually... This is over one year old and am wondering if anything changed regarding premiere allowing api control via midi... Probably not....
