I don't wanna sound like a dick or anything and maybe I don't know what I'm talking about but I've been doing research on this sub, been planning on buying 2 for my car, and I've seen that this sub is recommended for a sealed box only, and for roughly a .75 - 1.3 cu. ft. box, just thought I'd throw that info at yah real quick.

It can be ported, it says so in the owners manual and on the back of the box. I did this as more of an experiment. If it works, don't fix it!

You are right, if it's working don't fix it but I'd say experiment and see what's louder, but maybe that's just me.

@aojunkie1 ive got a 10" and its recommended for a 1 - 1.5 foot cubed, its a sealed box but may be a little small

It's 2.25 cubes tuned at 34hz.
I don't have the plans any more, sorry. Just look for a calculator and make it to those specs.
