  • seems like a lot of disputing going on here. i just want to know everything thats in this beast so i can tune out my r56 to the fullest and get around 350bhp and have it handle all the power and torque

  • Hey can you tell me all the mods and how much it costs..... And if it will work with any year mini cooper s thanks

  • k i dont care what you guys say but i've done enough test that there's no way in hell that that car was in direct drive doing that test. of course a lower gear is going to give you a higher HP

  • @chippowzer: the first pull was done in 4th; 2nd pull was done in 3rd gear.

  • I gotta say the one thing i refuse to touch on my mini is the engine, at the power its at stock my R53 doesn't torquesteer at all, and i heard the R56 with just a tad bit more power does which makes me scared to even had 1 horsepower to it. Also given the fact that just the bushing needing to be replaced gave me torquesteer too. What I will do are some PSS9's though. :)

  • That bitch sounded like it could do this shit all day!

  • how can I get one?

  • 400 hp to a fwd car = YOU ARE RETARDED!

cant you find a better way to waste your money?

like perhaps on a real sports car.

  • @billgettemy you must be one of those strait line jockeys. If this car was to hit a track it would dominate.. Infact a 650whp mini out runs you're sports cars on the track.. If by spending money on a quarter mile, and wasting half your paycheck on the gas it takes to get there in 9sec then you must have been dropped on your head as a kid.. Understand that a fwd car kills on a track.

  • @billgettemy: is the 2010 M3 considered a real sports car? check out how it gets spanked by a 450whp FWD MINI...(do a search for "ABF MINI vs M3 Paul Walker"

  • Is that a B swapped mini?

  • @StarsAndStraps4E : It's a built MINI R53 motor with a GT3076 turbo, tuned by Mynes on the stock ECU

  • think about the safety of the old mini and the new MINI... honestly.. only under certain precautions could you attempt to race a mini and be safe from anything.. but at least the new one has the technology of BMW to keep you on the road..

  • watch old BTTC, there are hundreds of crashes, including minis (against 69 camaros!) and most the driver walks away from. the safety feature of the mini was its ability to handle like a gocart

  • @gumby1008 I survived my accident intact in an R53! Sick safety in this car.

  • what it does 400 mph io!

  • I'm here as a owner of the new MINI and I have to say I love it. However, I'd love to have a classic Mini as well. They are surpreme when it comes to handling vs the new MINI.

  • Obviously those who don't drive them get too bent out of shape on the name. Old and new , Mini and MINI...they are both of the same soul. We as Mini/MINI owners respect our differences and our similarities and have a hell of a lot of fun doing it. Learn to care less about the change in name and more about the reason it's name has stuck around. If not for BMW, the Mini name would be history altogether

  • thats a load of bull... they are far from the same soul and 95% of classic mini owners would very much agree. name might be the same but thats about it. also as for the name being history, well yes its a big part of history but it will not be lost in it. the mini scene is massive across the world. i dont believe bmw could give 2shits about the classic mini just about their own pockets.

  • whats not a mini its a bmw

  • it is a MINI because German's BMW have bought the right to produce the car so it is basically a MINI!

  • no it isnt a mini because the sole purpose of the mini was it was small and cheap to buy and run, where as the bmw is a massive lump which is expensive to buy and run and they are half as much fun to drive so basically mate its a BMW

  • no MATE!!! the old mini when it was new was not cheap and BMW MINI couldn't copy every little detail for example the size !!!!!!!!!

  • actually i think they were cheap otherwise every man and his dog would have one would they? get your facts straight first its a bmw heap of shit old school in this case is better than new school

  • my dads first car was a mini......he's 6ft6 hahaha

  • wow who spends that much on a mini.....

  • Haha thats awesome, 400HP in a MINI.

    I want :(

  • what company made the kit?

  • @188652 The kit is mfg by ABF Performance; tuned by Mynes

  • looks like i need to switch to turbo, my supercharged one is a dog compared to that thing

  • how much mpg does this get with these mods?

  • wonder how big the inter cooler is haha

  • you cant not like mini's they have heratage and everything

  • Sure you can, this mini has a turbo so it's a 2007 + anything prior is the supercharger.

  • no. this is not one of the newer turbo'd mini's...its an R53 (supercharged) cooper S, that has been converted to a turbo only set up...no supercharger.

  • I have 2006 JCW cooper s and personally, I can say I love the super charger vs the turbo charger. The whine and the power... I've driven a turbo charged mini and it was just as fun. That's crazy someone would swap out the SC for a TC.. big bucks!

  • that's def, a first gen on the dyno

  • The 2007 had a turbo

  • Damn I wish my mini had this much power...too much money to spend on a car

  • damn i didnt think minis can pull this much power..

  • top speed?

    hp from the run?

    time 0-60?

  • You would have to ask Fireball Racing. It is their car.

  • What is the power to weight ration on this car??

  • probably around .4 hp per pound which is very good

  • K thanks for the estimate

  • and in metric terms?

  • :O:O

  • wow.... thats bad ass. i have a cooper s with reduction pulley. that sounds like a turbo is on there what else u got done to it?

  • The car belongs to Fireball Racing Tim. It is a turbo, you would have to ask him what all is done to it. It is pretty cool though.

  • nope wrong. Car is called the black widow. It belongs to Brain White. Car was build by Brian White, Hubie Fin, and Jan Jaugenmen. Fireball Tim had nothing to do with this project. Fireball Tim is someone who exploited the Mini culture. Although, Brian and Hubie did work for Fireballed Racing. Car has a custom Turbo set up. Also the rear wing is off the limited edition GP.

  • dude thats amazing
