before the patch fiz the bug, the way to active this is to attack him while he is in his passive, mf just shot one bullet and meanwhile karthus die before the bullet of mf hit him, after the bullet hit karthus, it shows up a word "invulnerable" (similar to hourglass passive)

and after he died and summoned again, he is still "invulnerable", and of course it is a bug

LoL has a glitch where statuses are often stuck on characters when multiple animations occur at once. Karthus's ultimate ended at the same time that his death occured, causing him to be stuck with the invulnerable status which he gains between the moment when he loses all of his hp and when he dies.
