  • Sell it on eBay lol

  • what do you make

  • This is very dangerous . Do not try this at home. Should have been your disclaimer.

  • This is very dangerous. Don't try this at how

  • you should make a ford mold

  • chevy

  • @StuntmanXXX How did you make that mold

  • @UnReAlLoBbYz they made it out of wood by burning it out

  • That was very dangerous but at least you made something beautiful....LOL

Wht did you make a chevrolet sign and call it art is beyond me.

    Kinda cool video anyway

  • drunks.

  • Very cool. I'm not your mother but personally I'd at least have worn shades or something. I'd like to see more stuff made ^^

  • looks like it got TOO hot. also, what was with the spontaneous combustion?

  • He got high with that fumes

  • And you pick a stinky chevy bow tie to cast....XD

  • all that for an effin chevy emblem? bunch of douche bags

  • Not a thought about safety! Good way to be blinded. That's what we cal dumbaxxes.

  • wow safety goggles anyone??? any water would explode out of there.

  • reminds me of beavis and butthead. lucky dudes though

  • Wow. You guys are complete idiots. If there was any water in that mold, the aluminum would have popped. Also, you did not pour it smoothly. If there would be any air bubbles in there, it could have also very easily popped.

Why would you put your head so close to the mold, especially WITHOUT protective equipment for your face? Why would you not wear VERY thick leather gloves?

If the people in this video would have died or have been mutilated, they would have deserved it completely.

  • @AivasovskyHeifetz "If the people in this video would have died or have been mutilated, they would have deserved it completely." The laws of physics don't say anyone "deserves" squat, they just do what they do... And why does it matter anyway, since this affects them and them alone...?

  • Ending should say "This is very stupid!"

  • Woah that's dangerous as shit :|

  • GAY!

  • Tose guys were trying to burn off their fingers, Look at them one guy was putting his face in it and nearly making out. tl;dr

  • looks hella fun

  • make sure you bake or heat the mold up to get rid of water vapor and or moisture, otherwise when you pour in the molten metal (of any type) the water in mold or other tool that comes in contact with the molten metal will steam up and cause the molten metal to explode out of the mold. and i find it pretty stupid that you put your face right over it and tried to blow on it to cool it.

  • what kind of bucket did u use

  • Looks like wood can melt planes.

  • I would have liked to see more personal protection for you guys against the molten metal, but it is pretty cool, nonetheless.

  • i used wet sand and had a simalar effect excect my sand was magnetic and fused into the aluminum. now magnets stick to the blob that was left

  • chevy BAby! =)

  • delicious aluminium fumes

  • Chevy sucks!!! FORD RULES!!!!

  • @SuperNorthAmerica Your mum sucks dewd! I had a 75 mustang 2 for years. All I did was work on that mother. Hard to work on too! So go suck a big viener ese?

  • @SuperNorthAmerica chevy and ford both suck

BMW is the way to go!!!!

  • @piepicles Nah dude! Your mom is the way to go.

  • chevrolet mold YEAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

  • @BangUrDeadNow You mean Zeropean don't you?

  • is that mold wood?!?!?!

  • You may or may not know but i have read books about aluminum molding and sand is used alot ponded tight sand molds.I had several books about casting aluminum don't know where they are right now.But i remember it tells about using a car heater motor to blow over charcoal and make a foundry it was very interesting to read. You mite find info on the inernet if your interested?

  • wow! i love how when you blew out the fire, it could have sprayed molten metal all o

    over your face! your smart!

  • @nigmous Better than a sprayed facial bukkake style,Burrdad?

  • is that chevy symbol lol

  • how are you melting that with what looks like wood to me

  • this is the worst melt i have ever seen

    1. you used a wood mold

    2. I wouldn't show that retarded piece of metal to any one

    3. You are a idiot who should not be playing with anything hot.

  • @SuperMoomba dude they are beer drinkers at a camp fire and your worried about their "poor" ...what a loser...

  • burning aluminum or tin foil makes a horrid fume that can kill you! lol good thing u did it outside cause that smoke was deadly

  • Is that . . . a . . . wood mold? ROFL nice...

  • useopenstupid are you a dumbass what do you mean who cares about youtube and my answer is apparently you because you have an acc.

  • Watch very carefully to see how to get full thickness 3rd degree burns peeps

  • chevrolet?

  • alumminim has a low melting point compared to iron.

    alliminium-600'c

    iron-1600'c

  • for goodness sake give him a brake,,, so his method is a little dangerous,, so what!! he said so didn't he! the world has become full of stupid lazy pussies!! great job man,, make a piston or something ;) freak these pussies out and use you teeth to de-mould lol

  • @useopenstupid please try this, do it with your face, youtube needs less morons doing fucking stupid shit without gloves or eye protection

  • who gives a fuck about youtube haha or people who talk too much lol go play a computer game thats nice and safe darlin,,, tell your boyfriend to be gentle with you sweetheart ;) xxx

  • hahaha

  • @itsumonihon haha muppet!

  • stfu you fat bald fuck

  • @itsumonihon thats right im a big real man!! bless you! that might be a little dangerous for a lil girl like you talking to me that way you know,,, there you go again!! this is the real world stoopid lol not a safe computer game haha mwah stay safe darlin lol x

  • Wow, I guess losing your hands aren't important. I sincerely hope you took basic chemistry and realized that heating something to 600 degrees suddenly, especially concrete would cause it to break. What's worse is that the sudden temp. change could have made the metal pop out so to speak. If your heating over 200 degrees use common sense. Don't describe it as dangerous and use extreme caution then not do so yourself. Completely reckless and your lucky to be alive and safe.

  • DONT DO THIS!!! There is nothing wrong with melting down metal, but to not use protective equipment is insane!

Molten aluminum will explode on contact with concrete, molten aluminum will burn through your skin to the bone

  • I never thought you could melt aluminum on a campfire

  • youve never thrown a beer can in a fire and watch it melt and burn?

  • ive melted beer bottles on a campfire they get really hot

  • I'd use a wet block, but that's just me...

  • you are crazy man. Is very dangerous melting metal and check out the piece like that.

  • that's awesome

  • awesome haha

  • Yes, 660 deg C, which is the same as 1220 deg F (as listed in the video).

  • Hey! Don't forget Kelvin 933.47 K

    (660.32 °C, 1220.58 °F)

The kelvin (symbol: K) is a unit increment of temperature and is one of the seven SI base units. The Kelvin scale is a thermodynamic (absolute) temperature scale where absolute zero, the theoretical absence of all thermal energy, is zero kelvin (0 K).

  • @StuntmanXXX he's probably some ignorant european

  • @StuntmanXXX so C is literally? just the half of F

  • @HomemadeThing haha your right

  • @HomemadeThing I know your comment is 8 months old but, FAIL! :]

  • @HomemadeThing your so retarted

  • @HomemadeThing They were probably using the older and more stupid fahrenheit

  • @HomemadeThing noob is as noob does!

  • LOL safety first! Masks goggles gloves???

  • how thick is that logo?

  • wow....isn't that special!

  • is that casted on a piece of wood??

  • i guess that guy doesn't care if he has a face or not

  • No safety precautions here. Need to wear leather gloves, boots, and eye protection at aminimum. Don't be like these guys.

  • One pound of molten aluminum is equal to the explosive power of three pounds of TNT.

  • what? I don't understand that. can you explain it?

  • hi, you guys know how to turn this aluminum to pc cases?

  • Chevy SUCKS

    go Ford

  • i knew cheys were made cheap. this proof of how bad its gotten up in michigan. what your are watching hear is a bunch of work at gm trying to make parts. gm is so bankrupt that they are using pop cans from there lunch break. to make hood symbols. its such a shame that why i am buy ford hahaahhaha :)

  • awesome

  • dont blow out the fire on it, it encourages the gases from the paint to stay within the mold/ingot =P

  • Did you know that 80% of Chevy's are still on the road today...the other 20% made it home. LOL

  • AH HA HA!

    /smack

    =P

  • So Id like to stress this...we were just screwin around at a campfire, kinda a spur of the moment deal. The next vid we get on this will actually be thought out :) so why criticize??

  • your fuckin making a chevy logo haha they suck ass take em off the lot and they're already broke on the road

  • Did you know that 80% of Chevy's are still on the road today...the other 20% made it home. LOL

  • i'ma chevy guy' but that's funny dude!

  • what is your mold made out of?

  • Pine

  • No Safety goggles to save your eyes, no Leather gloves to save your hands & arms from being scarred......................What a bunch of numbnuts !!!!

  • @WHIFFY1973 Not like melted aluminum would give a much of a fuck for safety goggles anyways.

  • @Scarecrowking Yes it would. It most defenitely would.

  • would solid ceramic material (modeling clay) work good as a mold?

  • sand+bentonite is too better.. u can find it in many agrarianchemical shops, they use it for adding wine.. 3parts sand 1 bentonite and just a little water..

  • use a graphite mould not a wood one

    it will burn u dumbasses

  • put it onto a pool of water?

  • if you put molten metal into a liquid it tends to actually make the situation worse, imagine when you put water on a pot thats been on the stove on high heat how it jumps and sometimes sprays and picture that with molten aluminum ...very painful, bad idea

  • i LOVE melting cans and stuff. i have so much aluminum. i can never get it to pour good though! btw, why use a wooden mould? i use a cast iron ingot mould. =)

  • rumor was that louis chevrolet got the idea for the bowtie in a paris hotel. he actually cut it out of the wallpaper design! lol

  • i bet youre going to put that on a *v6* commodore. its popular with dumb cunts around here

  • Funny, they didn't sound Australian to me... in fact a Commodore wouldn't have a bowtie on it now would it?

  • You have no idea what your talking about, fuck off religion cunt

  • "religion cunt "<---?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!?

  • oh so now you have something against religious people

  • OK now you're just being ridiculous.

  • No your ridiculous

  • Do you mean to use the possessive [YOUR] or the contraction [YOU'RE] because right now I am of the opinion that you either:

    A) have a 3rd grade understanding of English

    B) have an IQ of 65

  • No, your posessive.

    A) I have a 3rd world understanding of English, growing up in the sprawling desert of Antarctica being the main reason. You probably know this but a desert doesn't have to be hot, just dry.

    B) Is 65 particularly good? What is yours?

  • who the fuck lives in antarctica?..thats pretty much the dumbest place to live

  • hahaha this is always fun, just make sure to add non-stick spray lol

  • cool vid, interesting how you work with it.. hehe damn I was scared seeing you use you're hands so close to the molten alum.

  • chevy impala 64 the best lowrider!!!

  • a chevy sign.....

  • Aluminum Melting Point: 933.47 K (660.32 °C, 1220.58 °F) Just thought i'd say.

  • wow really really cool!

  • huh cool

  • OMG that was completely something I would like to try, but watching you guys with your hands so close, and moving the mould around while there was hot aluminum in there made me so nervous lol. Have you made any more attempts since this? WOuld love to see anything else you have made. be careful *smiles*

  • yes, we realised our mold and process was far from perfect. this was just something we rigged up on our camping trip.

i've been planning on trying out a plaster of paris mold. the wet wood worked ok but as you can see it catches fire and the bubles make a rough mold.

  • BTW, get some gloves. It'll cost 5 bucks and you wont lose limbs. As well, what you were doing is not smelting. Smelting is refining the ore from which the metal comes, in this case bauxite, into aluminum. Don't waste your time with a wooden mold. DO NOT have moisture near it either, let alone wet it down! Use greensand, clay bonded silica sand. Just buy a bag of sand blasting sand and some firecay,

  • smelt temp. alu = rond 700 ong.

oxidatielaag op alu = rond 1200

    =)

  • he had it too hot why it was searing up, ive found long as you mix tin or lead with aluminum sure it loses its light weight but it sets better with less bubbles and they should always smelt in a "still air area"

  • no i learned that if you put molten metal in or around moister it will explode including aluminum.

  • No you should not. Ever! Keep your advice to yourself untill you know what your talking about.

  • Keep your advice to yourself untill you know what your talking about.

  • I do know what I`m talking about I`ve cast aluminium. Water and molten metal do not stay close to each other for very long. They were lucky to get away with what they were doing anyway. Someone will one day put a video of what happens when molten aluminium goes on skin then maybe people wouldn`t be so cocky with the stuff.

  • lol

  • CHEVYYYY!#@$^$@&

    thats awesome.

  • Where did you buy the bowtie mold?

  • we carved it out of a block of wood. we had to wet it to prevent it from burning, but then that cause bubbles to form from the steam. a plaster mold would be much better.

  • use protective glasses.

when you pore, you could easily get hit by a projection and lose an eye.

  • Well, a couple pairs of gloves wouldn't have hurt, high quality welders gloves doesn't cost that much, and with them you don't risk loosing you hands if you get liquid aluminum on you hands.

  • chevy sucks man im sorry

  • yaah...extreme caution...use bare hands

  • bowtie??? This is a chevy symbol you idiot

  • you're the idiot! what do you think the chevy symbol is- a bowtie!!!

  • lmao

  • Wasting all that time and energy on a bowtie.

  • this movie is awesome stuntmanxxx is my hero
