  • missed this track for 40 plus years just never heard it !- found it last year radio 2 -

    it is very good track.

  • Great song, awesome nostrils.

  • why is this man not a superstar

  • @MrTyro496 Well he kind of was, 40 years ago.

  • A truly classic single, written by Denny Laine I believe.Anyone know who wrote the string arrangement ?

  • Great vocal performance and a fantastic arrangement with the strings . . . suprised this track only ever got to number 15, I always thought it had number 1 written all over it . . .

  • One of my favourites of all time.......was eating with friends last week and he said he was their neigbour from previous house and godfather to one of their daughters! He still tours as needs the cash

  • This is seriously classy stuff - a real forgotten gem of a song. Wonderful.

  • fab song.x

  • I saw someone but this guys name on a list fo greatest soul singers...why?

  • just another class 1970s song, takes you some where else fantastic

  • saw him do it live with The Zombies...

  • This song is so different than anything else I have ever heard!! Its almost eerie how gorgeous it is. It gives me a feeling I once had as a child, sort of a mixture of innocent bliss and somehow even a little melancoly -ish. But I love it, and even more the man singing it. :)

  • check out dhoade version it's exellent

  • i love forever Colin Blunstone

  • Thank you ever so for posting. An old fave of mine. Lovely discovery!

Preparing to go back to work after a few days r and r... this is such a nice way of easing me in!

  • I LOVE this man's voice

  • Superbly crafted song & performance.

I believe Colin Blunstone is cureently touring small venues in the UK.

  • Saw by chance in my local paper he was playing a small club a couple of miles away the next night. Played two sets on this first gig of the tour, with full band, including Hammond organ. Absolutely brilliant.

  • Glad I was able to spread the word a little bit & so glad you enjoyed the show -some consolation that I was not able to see him live as no venues near enough to me.

  • Must admit that we couldn't believe our luck. I actually saw a notice for it in the local paper.

  • Did Colin sing Turn Your Heart Around from the Keats album? It was on the set list last year. Sorry for being so curious, but I'll be at the 100Club in London next week. Would love to hear that song again.

  • It was the first song they played so you may be in luck.

  • I just meandered here though AC/DC (God Bless 'Em!)....Great tune! If people listen to the words of this tune, we would have a happier world, for sure!

  • heard it for the 1st time on bbc radio london gary crowley. Good song!

  • totally forgot about this gem until Stuart Maconie opened with this track tonight on Radio 2 at 8pm

  • so under rated make my top ten all time fav's

  • So many singles that were never released in the USA. Great collection.
