You made an amazing video and it made me very happy, I enjoyed every minute of it. Paused at the edge of my seat crying my eyes out. A wave of emotion, as this reminds me of my own story. Just recently I got the opportunity to reunite with my family that I had not seen in 12 years. I can't imagine how it must have felt after 49 years! I can't describe how good it feels to have had this happen to me after all these years. I got that chance I never thought I would to be with my Nana before she passed on. I was 12 when she (and the rest of Mum's family) last saw my brother and I.

I'm glad you had a happy reunion with your grandfather. This happened to my mom too - though her father, a US serviceman from Michigan, left my grandmother and my mom in the Philippines. With the help of the internet, we located him in 1996. But he died shortly thereafter at age 57. At least my mother spoke to her dad for the first time in her 37 years of life. If only we experienced what you and your family experienced - his children aren't really thrilled about us. Anyway, great job!

I agree with "Apocalypsesnowboards", you should enter it in a short flim competition. The others wouldn't stand a chance.

Wow..I've never seen anything like this on YT. It's very beautiful, and extremely well done. Family is the most important thing in life, and this tells the story in a very touching way. A definate 5/5 stars!

Wow, it's like driving down home roads... yep i'm one of dem der Yoopers. (for those un-familliar with the term ... a Yooper is one born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan) Although i'm transplanted i will always be a Yooper at heart.... quality video definately a fav.!
