im 17 years old and i dont give a fuck about what my grand parents like or not noone in the family plays this sort of music however i know good music when i hear and i love classic please dont let it die :) play it let the world hear it
@KaTieZCrAZyCasTZ ...uh, this "good music" died over 70 years ago. and just because you somehow have a death-grip on a period of music your grandparents may have missed, doesn't mean there hasn't been any progress in music over that time.
@DarylPell ...What's your problem? If it died then why are there still videos like this on Youtube that have thousands (and even sometimes) millions of hits? People still enjoy its loveliness. Compare stuff like this to now, from songs like Ke$ha which talks about having drunken sex with men she doesn't even know. Yup, sure sounds like progress to me.
you shut ur FUCKING MOUTH. you damn kids and ur damn music. everytime you hear this u immediately think of the era it came from. this music is our classical. pretty soon that fucking song "listen to my stereo" will be classical. hopefully i'll be dead
Recorded on July 12, 1939. This is available on at least one compilation of Miller sides: "The Essential Glenn Miller", a two-disc CD set, 'silhouette'.
quick everyone, if you say something nostalgic mixed with something hateful for the present time everyone will think you have a good taste of music.

Fantástica interpretação de um inolvidável tema musical já cantado por Judy Garland, e tantos outros grandes intérpretes!

@fromthesidelines This is not that recording. The 1939 record had Ray Eberle doing the vocal. This is a modern recording.

@4205lr I wondered that this version has no vocal. Thanks for the clarification. But is this still Glenn Miller?

@jaytlr9 It may be the so called current Glenn Miller orchestra, but it is certainly not Glenn Miller and his orchestra!
