If Scientology represents methods that are effective, why does it employ a multi-million dollar legal defence team to silence its critics? Why doesn't Scientology publicly disclose its research, and allow its methods to be scientifically verified or disproved? Why is Scientology attempting to erase from Internet archives unflattering details of Scientology's and Hubbard's past? Why do people continue to consider Scientology a religion?
