  • song name please

  • Well it looks like Fabio like Astronomy. Who knew?

  • this Italian is smart...

  • Awesome vid, Fabio. Would be nice if people used this this sort of perspective to unite than divide.

  • I read once that the scale goes the other way too I mean to really small things we are the alive of our universe

  • no vy canis majoris? That is humongous

  • Feeling significant? Don't.

  • wow

  • Nice...also, all this enormous scope and there's a "God" who focuses just on this one, microscopic planet? Come on now... ;D

  • Amazing isn't it that there are 288 people out there who dislike this enough to mark "dislike?" I don't get it.

I've had a pretty good grasp of this scale since I was maybe nine years old. It's always amazed me. The one that has floored me even more in recent years is the scale of our solar system (and atoms), and how incredibly far apart the planets really get from the sun while still being caught in its gravity field. It's similar with the parts of an atom.

  • Yep and all this happened by miracilous chance, out of billions of trillions of planets and stars there is just one that can support life, that if was 1000 miles on either side of the sun it would be inhospitable and apparently blank empty space was smart enough to do that. The chances of that happening are among the closest thing to impossible the human mind can fathom. I know this is gonna get alot of hate from atheists and what not but when you actually look at the facts and do some research

  • @CliffyEmAll How small is the likelihood that you came into existence? Your parents had to meet at the right moment, your grandparents, etc. the sperm that hit the egg in the right moment made you! that you and not a different child exist: now this dwarfs by far the likelihood you just described.

  • When we find out we are the least important things in the universe, science will have won

  • thats col

  • SUN, Y U SO SMALL!?!? but then again, if it was a red giant, then it would most likely explode and then engulf the inner planets, which doesnt happen for millions of years

  • @ukshuffling it brings back memories to me aswell man I remember shuffling with my friends to it.

  • Anyone who thinks that there's a god and HE(!) created this whole Universe and only put life on one insignificant planet is delusional.

Just giving it male gender should trigger the "pull the other one" response.... if you're a thinker.

  • This video doesn't really move me. Size is relative, and my world is here on earth, and us humans have fucking problems, big social problems. They're relatively big or small, but they are still sorrowful. You might think my loneliness is a small problem, but to me, it's a herculean one. My inability to find a good job and my beauty and strengths that get ignored. Whether those things seem big or small, they matter to a being caught in a relative universe, and an earth ruled by greedy bastards!

  • When I See This It Reminds Me of Horton Hears A Who :)

  • I was already not bothered by the small stuff.

My mind had previously been blown.

    This soundtrack is lame.

  • I know im only 13 but omg does that song bring back memories....it sounds stupid coming from me but it really does

  • i want to travvell to those universes.

  • Video maker should have done the "Aero chocklate bar" phenomenon, which is a map of the cosmos that looks like tiny bubbles all through space. The bubble walls are made up of galaxies (now too small to see). It's like zooming right out of the cosmos and galaxies are like grains of sand on a beach (arranged into bubble structures) like froth!

  • On the scale of 1 meter = 1 light-year: Pluto's orbit would be about 1 mm diam ( and earth's orbit would be nearly 40 times smaller). And the Milky Way galaxy would be 100 km diam! The closest star is 4-5 meters away and the Planet just like earth that has been recently discovered is only 20 meters away (really close in galactic terms) but so far away!

  • who knows the video were there is this machine that changes the weather at cause iv already knew this video but im having trouble finding the other video

  • It`s a great video, but the message is irrelevant. Just because there are insanely large objects in the world, doesn`t mean that they are significant objects. I think life is far more significant than a large mass of gas, therefore inner problems can seem more significant than the universe... They are just different messages; that's all i`m trying to say I guess.

  • but when i consider that an atom is composed of trillions of quarks and i am made up of trillions of atoms, i suddenly feel large and important again.

  • @occultologist A hydrogen atom has 3 quarks in it. Protons and neutrons both have 3 quarks in them. Hydrogen atoms only has a proton and an electron. A deuterium atom (an isotope of hydrogen) has a proton and a neutron, and so has 6 quarks. A helium atom has 2 protons and 2 neutrons, and so has 12 quarks.

  • Do you think you're better off alone?

  • Yeah were pretty small.. I wonder what other life forms are out there.

  • this is why I laugh at those who claim to be rich and powerful

  • the universe is a fractal and therefore what worries the universe is relative to what worries us.

  • this is amazing! if we were this tine little dust in the universe then there is for sure other planets that have life in it!

  • awsome vid shit music

  • @TheMinecraftPsyco then how was everything made? Respond or like if you believe and/or love god

  • GOD IS GREATEST. HE CREATED EVERYTHING AND EARTH IS IN THE CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE BECAUSE THE BIBLE SAID SO: AND EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT EVERYTHING IN THE BIBLE IS TRUE!

  • Chuck Norris called. He wants his nuts back.

  • 01:13I know what is the biggest. It's daaaaarkness! LoL...

  • Comment removed

  • well it seems like a good as time as any to go eat all the icecream in my freezer :(

  • Dude this wasn't even about planets

  • For as many planets that are out there we cant be alone and even in our history of earth ufos go way way way back carved on walls and stone even gold so idk and there are over 50.000 reilgions so somone has to be wrong so idk either way life is a gift

  • God is so great, and greatly to be praised!

  • @Miodovski i agree

  • THERE IS NO FUCKING SUCH THING AS GOD GET THIS THROUGH YOU THICK MINDS. THERE IS NO "CREATOR" THERE IS NO ALL KNOWING BEING OUT THERE SO SAY FUCK GOD NO THING SO DUMB IS REAL!!!!!!!! LIKE SERIOUSLY FFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUIUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • @TheMinecraftPsycho

well, someones had a bad day.

    [hands twix bar]

  • Actually, 09AZ311, when we find life elsewhere would that make your deity vanish suddenly? It takes only one piece of evidence to destroy this statement. Also remember that absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. Finally, have you learned nothing from this video? Our little planet isn't even visible outside the solar system. The universe is a pretty big haystack to find a single needle.

  • @09AZ311 Guess what? Okay, so, if there were life on other planets, how would they know about God? That proves there is no life on other planets, as the people on most other planets in other galaxies would not know about Him. So, there would probably be extremely smart planets that would have finally figured out how to get to our solar system by now. If there are crosses on our planet where Jesus died, then how would the other people know about Him? To conclude, there's no life on other planets.

  • now people who believe that there is no life in outer space, are extremely arrogant or they are rednecks

  • omg like imagine wat itd b like to live on the biggest one whoaaaaa

  • If you think thats impressive, you should have compared the sun to VY Canis Majoris, or Mu Cephei.

  • and now think of how small atoms are and sub atomic particles... it never ends!

  • ego

  • i really don't get why people think this is mind blowing! I mean you really think the universe was small? I tought everybody knew that the universe was pretty big, and that earth is a relatively small place. What blows my mind is the fact that people are so stupid they havent thought about this untill now!

  • Wuts the name of this song?

  • i seen this before it was on youtube

  • (Comment removed by your mum)

  • you think this is bigg ? than how bigg is the creator of evreything ALLAH

  • @1st2nc Who?

The Imaginary Guy in the sky doesn't count...Now go grab a Science Book, your neurons, if you have any, will thank you

  • @Varoonmg heeywaz up how you doing ,, ...sience book? the quran is full off sience it is you who dont know about it watch this movie called 8 - Scientific Facts in the Quran (Part 1) - made by abdul raheem green uk guy converted 2 islam he studied sience believe me this clip is mind blowing just listen 2 him cearfully when he speaks and explaining about orbits and more sientific facts let me know what you think about it

  • @Varoonmg part 2 is more about orbits and the universe

  • This used to be mind blowing.. but even these biggest stars are immensely small specs compared to the observable universe. If you really want to blow your mind, find some videos of the cosmic web.

  • Wouldn't that kill me to wrap my mind around something? XD

  • (comment removed by U.S.Government)

  • We small as hell

  • (Comment removed by God)

  • im happier having watched this lol

  • good song

  • Why is emo a tag?

  • Comment removed

  • we are not alone O.O........

  • Damn... dat shit make a nigga's mind hurt. I gonna drinks me a 40!

  • @sensible. Don't forget China. They are going to try making us think the aliens are coming for us, DON'T buy it. Then they are going to use harp to control weather, cause floods droughts and earthquakes. If you haven't heard of it, search haarp

  • @chrisohio87 I,ve heard of it and am aware there are in fact several of them all over the planet. I take with a massive pinch of salt anything the government and media says. Basically if a massive image of Jesus or Buddha appeared in the sky with accompanying voice I would suspect a scam....same with 'aliens'..........

  • I guess this is mind blowing to someone who hasn't completed the third grade?

  • And they say there's no life out there....

  • Fine, I therefore suggest you go show this video to Obama, McCain, Sarkozy, David Cameron and all the other revolting war mongerers that claim to be our leaders and humble them and then maybe we can avoid a war with Iran, Syria and possibly Russia too................

  • @SENSIBLECHEMIST dont sweat the small stuff...

  • @SENSIBLECHEMIST I tottaly agree with you. It is so humbling to watch this, reminds me of a kids movie/book "Horton Hears A Who" In that movie he believes that people live on a spec on a flower. and on that spec there is a whole world. If we see our place in universe we are not even a sepc!!! All these mere mortals who think they can lead the world should know better, but sadly they dont.

  • 404 error= haven't find the answer

  • You forgot the biggest star!! The " Big Dog Star" Canis Jorus. If the earth was a golf ball

and you filled up the space of Texas complete to 22 inches high and then count all the

golf balls and made them earths, you could fill up the "The Big Dog Star" !!!

  • how can this music be so gay

  • "To claim that someone has renounced reason only because they presuppose a Truth is to expose flawed reasoning on behalf of the claimant" - ExpertCompSci

  • Were not even a pixel in the universe :o oh my a-duh-god

  • I bet bitchfunkband never saw claudiahotpants her ass is out of this world

  • song title is 'better of alone' by Alice Deejay

  • Now just think how small an ant is to these monsters of matter.

  • What is the name off song

  • "Don't sweat the small stuff"

Yeah, right. Ill remember to think about big planets and shit the next time I am furiously enraged.

  • yeah but you have to consider that even the smallest atom is as important as the largest galaxy. and as a wise man once said: it's the little things that make up life.

  • Muahahah ...My balls are much bigger. 0l0

  • great video, I love that sog

  • the only thing that is mind blowing is your choice of SONG!

  • now this is why aliens are 100% real

  • Now imagine the size of god and why you should fear him

  • @calvinwallis67 fag..............

  • I wonder if other life forms out there watch Family Guy?????

  • @joedsavage Yes we do!

  • Now compare Donald Trumps ego to Arcturus.

  • awesome video!

  • ok, you have made your point. What has the stupid music to do with all this?

  • And I thought those 36 inch rims were big.....

  • Sirius star is serious.

  • I FEEL TINY

  • Thank you :) my new motto 'don't sweat the small stuff!'

  • Nice video. I would disagree that I feel humbled though. Since we are all literally made of stars, we are the universe. There is no difference or separation between us and the universe. When I see the vastness of the universe I know it's me. And you.

  • incredible

  • I got the balls of Antares

  • Thank you:)

  • Thank you

  • @tonganbabe98 that must have been one heck of comment to remove an entire government.

  • WOW

  • (Comment removed my U.S Government)

  • @tonganbabe98 Your comment removed the U.S government?

  • @FANOFWAR34 If only he was that powerful lol..........

  • @tonganbabe98 Your U.S. Government?

  • If we get sunburns from our puny-arse sun...imagine what we would be if we had THOSE HUGE things.

  • by the way, i can see the ants from the earth. :D haha

  • Aww mute bottom we meet again

  • @p1gb34r your comment was fine, respectable ,honest, you , agree that us humans have different religious veiws then you had to go and spoil it by the insane subject aliens no respect after that !.

  • penis

  • And one day we wake up and discover we are just fucking viruses floating in some mofo giant vein

  • On an even grander scale of things, our entire universe could just be one tiny molecule of another dimension, the mind boggles at the possibilities

  • Makes you think that maybe it was all planned this way by God, huh?

  • @veebdosa

It was all laid out by the laws of physics.

  • @veebdosa not at all. Makes me realise that we are too insignificant for any maker of the whole universe to even notice, never mind listen to. The universe is bigger than religion can explain in my opinion.

  • The Star "Antares" is a nearly dying Star i think :/

  • @BoyblackStar

It is probably already dead, no?

  • Does the size of a star matter when your coach molests you in the shower? Your problems are as big as you are and that's big enough.

  • KA BOOM! thats the sound of my mind being blown away

  • Wow ! Hubbling, isnt it : )

  • The original sin of Adam and Eve, eating from the tree of knowledge is nothing more than metaphor for ignorance. Ignorance is our inability to see ONE the whole picture. This is the reason why all Sears, Prophets, Avatars, Saints and Messiahs call the rest of our ignorant beings into enlightenment. Enlightenment is the reawakening of our consciousness to one whole being. This is easier said than done, this is why many of us will have to reincarnate countless time before reaching this level.

  • The vastness of space is amazing, where does it end???? and what's beyond that????

  • Better off alone - alice deejay

  • nice video, what's the name of the song

  • I FEEL SO SMALL NOW!

  • That's just it Fabio, we're nothing lol our problems we have and how important we are, are of no great significance. Good video.

  • It's so true, our petty wars means less than nothing to any other life form in the universe especially now that we have become so media focused and influenced... what a disgrace

  • Enjoyable video. Nice positive message. All of our disagreements, bigotry, racism, wars, etc. hold back our progress of the answers to all our questions.

To the arguments about religion: Respect each other's views. Not everyone believes in a deity, evolution, aliens, dinosaurs.

"To argue with a man who has renounced his reason is like giving medicine to the dead."

    -Thomas Paine

  • @p1 H

  • Very cool. Hard to grasp the size of the universe. Can't wait to show my 10 yeaa

  • The scariest thing is the fact that we are moving away from each other...

  • How the hell did 'He' get into this conversation.

  • "Don't sweat the small stuff" sounds good on paper. The problem is human civilization is built around the small stuff. No matter what its gonna fuck with you.

  • don't sweat the little stuff - don't you know? - it's all small stuff! :)

  • Jeremiah 23:27 they are thinking of making my people forget my name by means of THEIR dreams" the name of the LORD has been hidden and removed from the bible and replaced with titles like GOD and LORD Which is actually breaking the third commandment. Psalms 83:18 that people may know that you whose name is Jehovah" psalms 105:3 make your boast in his holy name" he is quite adamant about the use of his name

  • Romans 10:13 is not referring to Jesus but Jehovah (YHWH) notice how LORD is in capital this means it is a replacement of the transliterated tetragrammaton . When referring to Jesus it only has capital on first letter, Jesus clearly commands to give glory to the father John 6:38 ,39,40,41

  • I'm actually surprised Jupiter is as close in size as it is to the Sun.

  • @MurphysLaww Jupiter has one thousandth the mass of the sun and the radius is one tenth the radius of the sun. Is that what you consider close?

  • Alice dj - better off alone.

  • That is mind blowing, and kinda scary. I don't like being so small!

  • isit just me that thinks sirius sounds like an sti?

  • What is the song thats playing in the back round?

  • @dSTINGb Sirius is *the* brightest star in the night sky

  • @dSTINGb Sirius is brightest star in the night sky

  • what is Sirius ?

  • are we really small, or is the things in the cosmos really big?

  • anyone else watch the video muted?

  • Oh my baby jesus

  • and I was worried about losing a key to my motorcycle.

  • Genesis 1:2 And the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

3 And God said Let there be light and there was light.

Dirt in your hand void and without form cause It is energy.

darkness, So God Spoke the universe into existence the big bang Light.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

  • @VeoKenKs if it's written in a book then it has to be true.

  • Holly sheiße.

  • what the hell are all those spheres and stuff

  • and to think so much out there, and the size of us. and at that they think we are the only one with life in the universe? well I do know a good bit of folks believe in ET's.

  • Tge largest star know to man is the "VY canis majoris" and its a red hypergiant

  • Theres been much talk of new planets and the 'habitable zones' around stars I wonder do the giant stars (arcturus etc) have larger habitable zones or are they too violent and so have smaller or none?or maybe no planets even.

  • Wow. And I'm complaining that I don't feel tall enough. o-O

  • If Antares explodes it will then immediately collapse on itself and become a super dense neutron star or a black hole I think. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

  • @Paganfuckingsexgod Probably. Betelgeuse, about 500ly away, is also going to become a black hole (which will amputate Orion's arm, haha) and it is just about ready to explode. It's so unstable that it often changes brightness visibly from week to week. Of course, by "just about ready" I mean "sometime between tonight and 10,000 years from tonight", but itt'l be a helluva show when it happens.

  • Sirius? SIRIUS? Hes a sun now :D

  • OMG!!! @ 0:55 tha name is beetlejuice, just dont say it 3 times

  • lol uranus is bigger than earth ;D

  • Doesn't seem to bad to eat the full chocolate cake now...

  • we are fucked if antares explodes

  • All dislikes are for the music :D
