I thought I was getting good at pinpointing with my detector, buy you sir are a master. I can't wait for the ground to dry up a bit and give it a shot at my local park.
omg.. I hope you dont scratch a rare one.. or bend the heck out of somthing,, thanks for posting the vid.. but.. I use the half plug method.. and still looks like no one was there.. and no risk or damage to a rare coin.. I have never seen this method..
It is important to KNOW where the target is and how deep. This means knowing your detector is a must. I've been detecting for 30 years and have always used method, and yes I have scratched coins in the past, but not in many years.

I am using a Minelab E-Trac. Yes it does sound a bit like R2D2
